  1. Wayne The accuracy can also be affected by the format you have the unit set to. DD.DDDD is the most accurate
  2. Don't use cedar trees. They will not last and they are so thick you cannot fish then without getting hung up. It is better to use a hard wood like Oak. Or better yet use some Porcupine Attractors. Be sure to check with the local D&R
  3. Joey My tournament partner and I went this morning and made up for Sat. After a couple of hours we ended up with 5 keepers with 20-25 short fish. With a 4 lb kicker This was at the same bay were we started Sat. Bud
  4. If the condition allow you always park the boat deep and fish shallow. The bait will look more natural falling down the ledge than the other way. Bud
  5. Once you use the SI and learn a little about it You will wonder how you got by without it. As far as Humminbird 2D it is as good as Lowrance.
  6. cart7t MapCreate is a computer program that lets you work with waypoints at home then load them to a SD card to load them into you GPS. It does away with a lot of hunting on the water. I don't like Mapcreate I rather use Hot Maps Explorer with PC Hummingbird in my Birds. I use the Navionics HD maps for Ky and Barkley. They are more accurate in my openion.
  7. They do work better at 3-4 mph. But they will work on the TM. The trick is to make slow turn with the TM. If you whip it around fast it will take several second for the picture to clear up. One other thing is READ THE BOOK.
  8. Cart7t is right on. You can throw several thousand at a old boat in a hurry. I was lucky with mine for I know how to do all of the work myself.
  9. Simp fish the brush. If you like pitching & Flipping you are in luck. My partner and myself caught about 45 today. We had 5 over 5 with with the largest at 7.71. We were throwing watermelon red lizard. Good luck Bud
  10. Nice fish Steve. The Pig and Jig is working here also. Bud
  11. Their is nothing wrong with it. They are suppose to have some flex. Bud
  12. On Arent reels you do not have to remove the spool to change the breaks. They adjust just like a Shimano. Bud
  13. Tackletour openion is just that ONE MAN openion. I have a SX and it is a great reel. Bud
  14. Well guys I don't know were to start. Glad every one had a good time and just wish the wx had been better. Sorry I could not put every one on the pig but that is the reason it is called fishing instead of catching. Good to put faces with the name and I personally had a great time Thanks again. Bud
  15. You bet. Burley you stay in Ky long DVX520 and myself will train you. ;D ;D ;D
  16. Looks like you have it covered Bud

  18. Steve to be a member of the old timers you must be at lease 65 so that leave out most on here out. Looking forward to seening you. Bud
  19. Fished a Old Timers Tournament Thu out of Eddy Creek on Barkley with a 18 boat field. The winning sack was 15.04 with big fish of 5.01. The Jerk bait was on with a X rap in clown color. They were also hitting a Lucky Craft CB350 in shad. The pattern was large chunks rock with 6 to 10 foot of water near. The water was 55.5 deg and air temp was 41 at blast off.
  20. I don't think you can beat Sunline. Great line.
  21. On my Chevrolet all you have to do is put the emergency brake on to the first click.
  22. All you have to do if you have a problem with SK is call them they will take care of it. I had several the paint came off and they replace every one. Great service.
