  1. for those of you who use tackle boxes to store your plastics, which boxes do you recommend, and how do you do it? Do you organize by color, size of the bait, type, etc? My boat doesn't have a lot of storage so I cant use big bins or anything, but I use carabiners now and they get more frustrating than anything...
  2. Thanks... yeah it was free.. haha all I had to pay was shipping so we'll see how it goes.. will hopefully work well as a backup..

  7. It was funny... I had a FOM tourney there on April 2... my partner and I were jerkin (no pun intended) all day... I was using a Chartruese shad LC Pointer and nailing small mouths all day, and my partner was throwing a different pattern of the same pointer (i forget which one it was) and he was only catchin largemouth.. I dont think you will have a problem catchin them if you find a point and the wind is blowing... the harder the wind blew.. the harder they were biting
  8. Does that mean he will no longer be on the Bass Pros? I actually really like my 8ft Tessera flippin stick.. Maybe it is because the yellow and black matched my Pittsburgh teams.. but I havent had a problem with it yet.. and with RC and Skeet workin together, they have a chance of making some really great stuff... eventually..
  9. I stumbled across this reel on another site and picked it up very cheap... can anyone tell me about this reel? Its around 4 years old... Its blue.. and I'm thinkin it is the 100BL? Has anyone used one of these previously? I have never used Daiwa reels but for the price, I couldn't pass up..
  10. I feel ya.. we got a ton here too... near state college..
  11. Thanks! I'll go with the 30s then.. I dont really care about the weight of a reel.. especially a spinning reel because I rarely use them.. But the new okumas look pretty sweet.. a buddy of mine has the Trio and loves it.. so I think I will like the High speed just as much..
  12. Their mistake is our gain!! I scarfed up a St. Croix Premier 6'6 mh.... I didnt need one but for the price i couldnt pass it up... Esp. since they were cheaper than the made in mexico triumphs..
