  1. Sayers i think is a better option.. glendale is more difficult to get to.. and its a 20hp limit.. Sayers isnt much bigger than glendale either
  2. gonna be tough to find any combo for that price..
  3. buddy of mine had a gold carrot stick... i was in the boat when the thing snapped in half... on a cast!
  4. I just called last week and ordered one for my older extreme.. the lady i talked to at the reel repair service had one of the guys check and he said that the straight handles fit onto the older reels. The swept ones to not fit on the Extremes, however. just a heads up
  5. yeah but I wonder how often that actually works? People who know what they are looking for and know the prices of stuff dont get fooled but i bet that Someone is more likely to buy something if they see an orange sticker on it in the clearance aisle... makes sense..
  6. sweet stuff guys! wow!
  7. good concept.. wouldn't work.. i pick on my fiancee for going to stupid parties like that... I would only go if you could promise that everyone would sit around in a circle in our pj's and tell fishing stories while singing our favorite fishing songs..
  8. I just bought a Abu Garcia Vengeance for the same reason you are looking.. they are inexpensive and they get pretty good reviews.. i think i'm going to be happy with it!
  9. get one of those scientific anglers kits from walmart.. theyre cheap and come with everything you'll need to begin.. once you get the hand of it then you can upgrade to the more expensive stuff... PS... where are you from? What creeks in PA do you plan on fishing?
  10. great point!! using interchangeable parts with bps and abu would be sweet!
  11. thanks but if you scroll down on this page there is the exact same post by someone else... thanks though!
  12. I'm not even going to reply to this thread! It is all just a matter of personal preference... REVO :-*
  13. i have both.. i really like my cardinals.. I have the 404i and it is a great reel.. I have an older cardinal that has been going strong for 9 years now... Purchased the Sienna last year for christmas to be primarily a steelhead and dropshot reel... I dont know if i ever used it though.. my fiancee claimed it! haha Just from my experience, I would go with the Cardinal
  14. looks sweet! little too steep for my price range though..
  15. welcome to the forum!!
  16. 23... Doctor of Physical Therapy student..
  17. I think we got the photography taken care of.. her dad and sister are both photographers and her cousin is also taking pictures.. we didnt hire one but we are definitely saving lots of money.
  18. Wow.. how old are those reels that I have posted? I can't find much information on them.. It'd be cool to fix them up and get them running.. but both only cast about as far as a 2 year old can throw.. probably just need a good cleaning.
  19. Is this the reel you were talking about? its a 250XG? I tried cleanin it but when I put mine back together for some reason the spool wont spin with the handle..
  20. agreed with these guys.. for the price.. I would go with a PQ or Extreme from Bass pro.. they are great reels and are available in low gear ratios.. Wait for the spring classic to come out and I bet you can snag one up for cheap!
  21. Good reply Goose! You should be a spokesperson for the PQ!
  22. I love netbait.. great to see that they came out with some new stuff..
  23. (562) 375-6800 That is Daiwa's service center... give them a call and I'm sure they can point you in the right direction..
