  1. Wow how does it balance? I really might consider one now. Always wanted to try one, but I've always heard they were tip-heavy. It's all about balance for me. I have an 09 revo premier on my powell max 703c... honestly i dont know if you can get a more balanced setup than that.. i wouldnt trade my powell for anything.. except maybe 10 more!!
  2. Thank you for the review!
  3. nothin' better than a good which reel is better than the other thread... REVO STX
  4. You just have to play with your unit. Turn your sen. up or down and watch your screen to find your drop shot rig. sorry.. couldnt resist... THAT'S WHAT SHE SAID..
  5. sorry bout the inconvenience bub... i did a search for jig storage and didnt find anything
  6. thank you! i knew there had to be a cheaper way.. what model do you have?
  7. How do you store your jigs? I have a bunch and just have them all in a medium sized Plano box.. is this how you guys do it or do you have a more convenient way to do so?
  8. i actually bought 2 packs of these today at dicks.. i got some junebug Ike baits and some lime purple passion skeet baits. The Ike bait actually looks something like something lake fork would make.. these baits to have that hint of powerbait smell to them so i wouldnt call them completely scentless.. I am excited to use them.. I love the purple in the skeet bait.. I think it has some real potential come march through june here in pennsylvania..
  9. what fish finder do you guys use to see your bait and the fish come up to it?
  10. Hey guys.. I would like to get a fish finder for on the front of my boat.. I have a question though... how cheap of a fishfinder can i get that will actually show my bait in the water when I am drop shotting? I have read that you can see your bait and actually see a fish swim up to it and take it.. how cheap could I find one of these for, or will any gps nowadays do it? I know that my current old hummingbird is only good for depth and water temp.. thanks!
  11. sweet! is that in store only?
  12. Apologies to Fat-G for going OT...but this is a weird coincidence - 3.76 was the weight of my first bass for THIS year - caught on Jan. 1 ( http://www.bassresource.com/bass_fishing_forums/YaBB.pl?num=1293920134 ) Is there something that says that 3.76lb fish have to volunteer to be the "first catch"... ;D Fat-G - did your fish happen to weigh 3.76? hahah that is crazy! I was pretty happy as the lake i was fishing doesn't seem to produce many 3+lb bass...
  13. which lake maps do you have nik?

  20. For that price, a Powell Max 703c would be a better choice.
  21. I saw this at the Harrisburg sports show this weekend... I will definitely be picking one up... possibly the coolest thing I have ever seen and I will put it to great use!!!
