  1. Screw that. haha. just buy some mad maxx's and you will catch a ton. but if you miss a frog fish, go with a weightless plastic. I agree using a weightless trick worm.
  2. hey guys im back. i went out to my local pond and it had some mats around it. so i decided to use my new softer body mad maxx in pale rider color. all i can say is WOW! firsti used my Rage toad and caught a smaller one. but then i switched to the mad maxx and brought in the bigger ones, which are about 2 1/2 to 3 pounds. these bigger ones were post spawn females and they sure can hammer a frog. I'm not saying this because i'm sponsored by them. I ordered some new maxx's in early spring. and waited till the right time. Also, they have a new softer body and i never missed a fish unless i pulled too early. so i'm recommending you guys get a couple of these, you wont regret it. also, the frog might be a little scratched from the fish but don't fret, mine is still in fish catching condition
  3. me too. Whats with you people in saying we dont fish! haha. I have 7 bass for this year and now im gonna keep a log book for this season. It also might help me in my first tournaments this year. But I always fish anytime i get the chance.
  4. Thank you for the tips. I have been recently looking for sponsers lately so I might send you a application. Thanks, Easternpafisherman
  5. Your right there tommy, Most junior prostaffers dont want to work with them, they just want free stuff. I have been giving them some publicity lately. I have been on a TV show, I've been telling people about their products, and I'm always trying to promote the companies I represent. The only problem I have with tru tungsten is, Tom hasn't answered me when I sent him my order form. But, I'm always looking for companies to represent to make their sales rate go up or make sure they are heard.
  6. Hello Robby, I live near you so I want to know if you know the club called the Delaware River Bassmasters?
  7. I would agree, Tru Tungsten gets me pretty good deals for me too. I've been sponsored by them for 3 years and nothing has gone wrong.
  8. you could use a Tru Tungsten T-Rig. just screw the weight in and your ready to go.
  9. Now the tru tungsten frogs have a softer body. I read a review on Bass pro and the man said it was now super soft and he almost 99% of the time hooks up.
  10. I'm not sure if this is the right place to put it but has anyone been to one of the Eastern Outdoors shows? They look really cool but I wanted to know if anyone of you guys or gals have been there?
  11. nice job man. love em.
  12. 7-3 shore fishing a local pond on a really small jig with a part of a wave tiki gorilla as a trailer. Sorry but I don't have a pic :-[
  13. 1. I guess is patience, when I caught my PB last year it was FREEZING cold and very WINDY! but I hung in there. 2. Patterns, I'm a shore fisherman 100% of the time, if the wind is blowing to the one shoreline, I gues there's bass there. Sometimes it's right. 3. Flippin and pitching, I got a new MH 7' so I should start doing that. Nothing else really, I was good at baitcasting when I started so I think that's all.
  14. I think they take an old toothbrush, put some paint on it, and rub the bristles up and it should splatter. I think that's the way.
