  1. what kinda trailer is that in the first pic?
  2. i would say that is comparable 8-)
  3. Raul how deep were you fishing?
  4. Kistler is having a Helium closeout sale (just in case you didn't understand my subject head ) These rods are of superior quality to me and are being sold for around $130. Which is a ridiculous deal for anyone looking for a new quality rod with a budget of around $125. Ridiculous deal. Rods available- 7' M, 7'MH, 6'9 MH. All 2010 rods. The most effective marketing is having a friend recommend something, there's no stronger conviction than someone who's word you'd stand by. Oh yeah, i have no reputation here ;D ok, so i had some hot sake at lunch. seriously though, use the coupon code HELIUMCLOSEOUT at their checkout. Kistler rods are amazing. Thank you for your time, Clay
  5. wow that kayak is cool. a buddy and i were just discussing bass fishing from them. we were trying to figure a way to accommodate having to stretch after a certain period of time, and looky there. how much for one of those?
  6. That makes me want to come up with a digestive friendly soft plastics line.
  7. :-[Not sure that was funny but it's good to see another Mississippian on here.
  8. that's awesome. nothing like gaining some confidence during the tough summer fishing
  9. For me it 's a weedless wacky, actually when you use O rings for wacky rigging senkos the hook is not perpendicular to the bait, yet, they are wacky rigged. copy that. never been a wacky rigger
  10. also waiting for your personal review RW
  11. raul, is that considered wacky even though the hook isn't rigged perpendicular to the worm?
  12. very tough break man, sorry to hear it. it should be ok to shoot them on site like rodents that get into the garden. no one will ever miss them
  13. reminds me of the frog on floridakayakfishing.com
  14. Because it contains algae which reflects the blue/green light of the spectrum.
  15. Water temps here have been upper 80's this past weekend and i've done really well with just a white spro in the pads from 530 till about 1030, then they just hit the off switch and you gotta move away from the bank and fish ledges. I mentioned in another thread about the possibility of shad not being big enough from spawn to excite schools of bass, and i know different lakes all over are in different stages, but could this partly explain the stalemate fishing in some areas? :-? RW, how deep were u fishin?
  16. He communicated his point to me. Regardless of the grammatical errors, i got his post. If you're so disgusted with the grammer, why even click on reply? . TJH, guides can be repositioned by bending them back very gently. What kinda rod was it? Sorry, what kind of rod was it?
  17. i like to take the skirt off a spinnerbait and just put a money minnow on the hook or even a fluke works nice
  18. picasso spider flip jig (gotta a nice wide gap hook) 3 3/4" paca craw, or... stanley finesse jig with a 3" money craw.
  19. 3.75 in money craw with quarter oz bullet weight
  20. if a certain percentage of strikes are called reaction strikes, what is the remaining percentage of strikes called, enticed strikes?
  21. that bass has an underbite!
  22. sounds relaxing. nice bass. if you have to go, do you just go?
  23. i use it for all my plastics. also use it on both hollow and solid body frogs as a lubricant since i'm pulling them through cover. I don't really find it necessary to apply it to crankbaits and spinners and such. i'd say an amount the size of your pinky nail lasts 15 to 20 casts.
  24. the chances are pretty good. bass have an amazing biological feature called electroreception that help them detect and feel prey. bass's hearing and feeling are synonymous with each other. Unlike you and I where we may hold a conversation with another person understanding what is being said, a bass hears and feels the vibration from the different sounds and movements in the water, different sounds will cause different pitches that send vibrations and a bass will get familiar with certain sounds such as pitches and vibrations made from natural forage, also they are able to feel any displacement of water within the vicinity of their prey caused by even the slightest movement.
