  2. you're not throwing a 10" Rage thumper in those deep weeds
  3. so where is the threadfin shad color. pause it at :54 seconds and get a good look at it.
  4. call me an idiot, but i couldn't find this freakin thing for sale anywhere. it's the BBZ-1 in threadfin
  5. I have a Kistler LTA helium for froggin, but it's super sensitive and makes an excellent pitchin/flippin rod and kinda wanted to designate it for that only. found myself changing lures way too often this weekend on that rod. frog to jig to frog to jig and so on. To those that suggested Powell frog rods, they are both MH, which is a no no for frog fishing where i'm from. gotta be at least a heavy. kinda between Saavy and Lamiglas now. thanks a ton guys.
  6. that's exactly what i'm looking for. thanks! does it come in carbon fiber?
  7. that sacrifices sensitivity for strength?
  8. monster mississippi grennel do this to me from time to time
  9. i'm bored too, i'll chime in #1- Baby brushog. Junebug for the muddy waters of Mississippi and watermelon candy if i find a clear pocket. #2- Rage craw- In bama craw or junebug or black and blue. again depending on water clarity #3- Critter craw in red bug #4- lately, in the mornings, I've been flippin small swimbaits and grubs(yums, mission fish, and kalin grubs) in pads that have a sparse concentration, doin really well. my new favorite method #5- Last and not even close to least, good ole t rigged flappin hog in baby bass.
  10. there isn't a v-1 on that site, you mean the z-1? i'm gonna have to cop some of these
  11. the Stanley ribbit doesn't get enough credit. to me they all have different action. matstone, btw nice post. i know that slow roll sweet spot you speak of
  12. ^^^ copy that. i think you should have both. throw zoom for those not so windy days, and a rage over water with a slight chop
  13. isfuhan, that looks like it. is that the Balsa III? which one is that that you pictured?
  14. actually yeah, i wanna say that's it actually. was he fishin a yellow and black crank around cypress trees?
  15. thanks all those you guys have suggested look great. still lookin for someone that saw that show
  16. i think those have a tight wobble, and i don't see that color for a timber tiger anywhere
  17. I saw a fishing show about a couple weeks ago where a pro was banging a black and yellow crankbait with a wide wobble off some cypress trees, killin bass. who was that and anyone know what kinda crank that was? Thanks in advance
  18. i think this would also be a good time for JFrancho to chime in and explain why and how cranks aren't just a chuck and wind bait. what else is there besides the stop and go, fast to slow alternation, or a tweaking to get it to run right or left aiming under mats and such. What is it that's done with cranks that takes such a skilled angler to execute? also, BANDIT!!
  19. wait till all the ticks are over, then let em have it
  20. Doc! The Libyans are coming! get to the delorian! too funny
  21. I mentioned the Yozuri Wack-O earlier. I can walk it just like a spook. The downside of its superior walking ability, though, is its lowered ability to pop. By this I mean that when it pops, the splash is about 1/2 the size of say, a Rebel Pop-R. Still plenty big to attract bass though. TW is having a sale on them for 9.88 or so. Wouldn't hurt to try one. sweet
  22. are there poppers that are walk the dog friendly?
  23. the zoom magnum finesse are bad to tha bone!!
  24. come on you arsenal!
