  3. actually didnt Kramer have to do that?
  4. From the articles section: Color and style make a big difference so always have a good assortment of different colors, styles and lengths as well as a good supply of different worm weights. An assortment of weenie worms, craw worms, lizards, curl tail, finesse and ribbon-tail worms will cover nearly every situation. In clear water, lighter, more translucent colors tend to work best: blue, green, pearl, smoke, etc. In dark water, dark worms often produce the best: purple, black, brown, etc. Two-toned worms are better when the less dominant color is a highly attracting one, such as bright yellow or red and the dominant color is a more conservative one, such as black or blue. Metalflake colors are often the key to fishing success. # In choosing worm colors, stick to a color that seems to work in your area, but don't be afraid to experiment. Most professionals use shades of purple.
  5. look at you holding up a largemouth. you couldn't take not fishing could you. nice bass
  6. you're not her Uncle! ;D
  7. saw it last night. supposedly its different than the original. GREAT movie. The Cohen brothers never really make a bad one though. OHIO that was the wild card character.
  8. actually they were removed and reinserted flawlessly. i wish i could find more. guess it makes no difference if i just strapped a rattler on underneath the skirt
  9. Sweet. my grandad lives in Pontotoc. he said it was beautiful up there. nothing but hopeless flurrys in jxn. seeing more and more Mississippians on here, thats great
  10. This old trailer blew my mind. 96 year old grand dad passed these down to me along with some other old odds and ends from his tackle box. Those balls on the claws are rattlers embedded in the plastic. Seriously? Why don't you see these anymore? Also, the Hawaiian wiggler, which my dad swore by. The skirt dry rotted away. Any of you recognize the third one though? Never seen anything like it. It has a funny little plastic weedguard.
  11. sheep skin slippers, they rock. i also got grandpa's old oren-o-matic fly reel and all his flys and a few antique bass lures. I'm just happy my mom is responding well with her chemo and that we all got to be together for another Christmas/new year
  12. I was actually gonna start a thread about what we gave this year. The feeling of giving something great is just as good if not better than getting something you really wanted.
  13. Yeah you're probably right, usually like to leave a little extra in case I didn't pull it tight enough. Let Nadine pull it tight for me. ;D
  14. shoot a squirrel with your BB gun and put it in her stocking tomorrow morning. she'll think you're sick, and end the war. you win
  15. Last fish for 2010 for sure this time. didn't weigh much but i was thankful for her. she hit a buzzbait yesterday, that had the tail of a brush hog for a trailer cause the skirt slid off. it was maybe 50 degrees outside.
  16. The Bad Plus is awesome
  17. would you look at that? look at it! isn't that something?!?!? just look at it! would you look at that?!?! ;D seriously though, yeah that is a fisherman catcher. looks brilliant but surely they could attach a wire guard to that? i think shad master nailed it. you gotta keep buyin em when you lose one. just look at it!
  18. i find this interesting. thought things got better with age.
  19. just found this one. sorry if you all have seen it. just look at it http://ebaumnation.com/2010/12/17/-look-at-this-dog

  22. looks like a threadfin to me but they look so similar
  23. we did have an old thread about this speculation. couldn't find the thread through search. I'm surprised no one has a definitive answer for it.
