i'd say stick with the anaconda or any other curly tail 10" worm. jelly worms dont really move as much water which is what you want when visibility is low
i agree with fishing lizards in the spring time. no less than 8" cause of the mud i fish in. i swim them alot more. its the ultimate shallow bait this time of the year here. when fishing brush hogs i am aiming for more of a crawfish imitation.

just picked up a fat bomber square "A" and threw it around in the pool yesterday to see the action which was a nice. wide, erratic wobble. its a 0-3 footer though but with the right retrieve you can work it next to the surface
