  1. I did hate the Iphone until I got one. It's so great now! Really, yes corny, hate me, I'm a PC guy, and this is my only Apple product, and that won't change.. I have my phone...uncapped.. so to speak. It makes a world of difference. Calendar that syncs with Outlook as well as Windows Mobile, just awesome!
  2. California does offer day licenses, and they are about 14$ for the day.. Yes very expensive. I think that they also have a 3 day license as well. Good luck! Erik
  3. I lived in KC,MO last year. My in-laws live there.. I usually visit a few times a year, are there many good public places to fish bass up around Liberty/Independence or even north on 210? (Any idea how much non resident license is?) Thanks!! I love that area!
  4. I'm Erik! I started out fishing with my father at Lake Almanor in CA, and mostly the rivers surrounding. I am an avid trout fisherman, that is trying to get into the bass fishing scene. I really enjoy it, and I love how it can be relaxing. I need some good ideas where to go in the area. Let me know! Glad to be here! Erik
  5. Haha, I have a few bass ponds that I feel that way about. Used to get some big ones, but lately it is only the little .5 pounders.
  6. Whatever tickles your fancy! I want to go to Scheels in Reno, I hear it is just awesome!
  7. Sportsman's Warehouse is amazing!! Good stuff there, and good prices.
  8. Did you ever try fishing the quarry ponds, near the concrete companies outside the Doolittle gate?
  9. Well, I am pretty excited to have found this thread!!! I live in Olivehurst, so I know Beale, YC, Marysville really really well... I know 3 places to catch tons of bass and catfish. There are a few places off Hammonton-Smartville road, and there are also 3 ponds off Feather River Blvd, as well as lots of Shad and Salmon at Star Bend boat ramp. I only have 1 guy I go fishing with, and usually have been going about 3 nights a week.. Going to be doing a night fishing deal here pretty soon, there is a place out by Meridian which is off Highway 20 near Colusa in the Sutter By-Pass that has enormous catfish! let me know if you want the exact locations, one of which is the California Gold Fields, near the Beale Gate there. Alright! Erik
