  1. If you guys checkout BTD, which is a sponsor here, you can pick up the monkeys for a decent price. Also, last week they were having a free shipping deal going on for anything priced over $50. Give them a shout and see if they will still honor that for being a BR member? Couldn't hurt to give it a shot. I ordered a gang load of craws last week and I got them on Monday, I am starting to grow a fond attachment to BTD )
  2. Congratulations.....I am so envious of you
  3. LAKERS in 4!!!!
  4. awwww mannnnnnnnnn This will not be available until iCast????? http://www.another site.com/WhatsUp.aspx?ArticleID=5383
  5. I apologize if my response was misleading. I was talking about removing the barbs right after they are taken out of the packaging, not when they have been imbedded into someone
  6. What I do is take either a pair of wire cutters, or a pair of needle nose pliers, and right where the barb starts to extend, I use the wire cutters to press it down towards the shank, and then you will hear a "POP" and that will be the barb coming off. Don't get over zealous and gorilla grip the wire cutters and squeeze too hard and pop the hook.
  7. I went with this philosophy but stayed with baitcasters, and I have been EXTREMELY satisfied with my setups. I also added in a 7' M F baitcaster and have loved them all
  8. Ouch....sorry to hear that. But this is one reason why whenever I purchase anything with treble hooks, I remove the barbs. My ole lady sits there and shakes her head at the tedious amount of time I take on removing them, but I explain to her, that if I catch a hook in me, I can remove it easier, plus, when I catch a fish, if it is deep hooked, I can get the hooks out easier and get the fish back to his friends and family in the water.
  9. Who has had a good start this year throwing cranks? I've caught the majority of my fish this year on them. Lets post up those crank fish pics, here are a few of mine I forgot this one, first time throwing the KVD 2.5
  10. Absolutely MASSIVE....Wonder if it was put in the local BPS or Cabelas aquarium
  11. +++++++++++ I actually pulled these out yesterday while fishing a local holding tank and caught the majority of fish on them. The dirty craw was the color of choice
  12. Wait till you throw a Revo
  13. So where do you purchase your spools of PP for that price?
  14. SPARK PLUGS.....SPARK PLUGS Keep a few spark plugs handy. Zip tie 2 or three together, then attach them to a heavy action rod. A few well placed casts and the boaters should get the idea But in all seriousness....I found out if everyone talks, the fishing will go alot smoother. I bank fish back in a cove, and guys in little two man boats are always back there, we try to give each other room and it all works out pretty good. There was even a time, a guy put his boat in the water, started out to the main part of the pond, he made a cast one direction, I made a cast another direction, and we both hooked up
  15. UPDATE!!!!!!!!! You better get them while you can http://www.***.com/Strike_King_KVD_HC_Square_Bill_Silent_Crankbait/descpage-SKKVDHC.html
  16. May the flies of 1000 camels infect your crotch
  17. I can tolerate snakes if they are 10 feet way, but any closer, I start screaming like a 5 year old girl. I might have to invest in a CO2 BB gun for some of my local ponds
  18. I am wanting to get a winch and see how that improves my cranking. Or I just might swap out the gears on one of my premiers and see how that works
  19. I bet that will learn ya to listen
  20. WELCOME BACK TO THE WORLD!!!!! As a prior blue suiter, I'm envious that you are at Homestead, I tried to get there Like others have said, pick up some Senkos, greens, black color variations work very well. Also pick up some topwater baits, buzzbaits in white, black, white/chartreuse. And also some frogs, whether they are the hollow body frogs, or the plastic ribbit frogs. Cranks, it depends on the color of the baitfish. Since you guys have so many different tropical fish there, just see how they are colored, and go from there.
  21. I would say a 2010 AG Revo Premier and a AG Verdict.....a match made in heaven
  22. I knew there was a machine to his method of catching Is this some mumbo jumbo scheme to get others to spend money?
  23. RW, you are such a fashionista
  24. From what I've experienced in the last few years is it doesn't matter what color your line is to the fish. What is really important is what color lure you have tied to the end of your line FISH MORE....STRESS LESS
  25. Rods - AG Reels - AG Revo's Line - Suffix mono, PP Hardbaits - Strike King Softbaits - Zoom, Gary Yamamoto Storage - Plano
