  1. Lake Fork Tackle has these in 3.5" and 4.5" sizes. I love these as a trailer for my chatterbait.
  2. There is a season for BASS ?
  3. So baits are now having bungholes on them? ?
  4. Here is a company that I've ordered from, and have been pleased with https://www.russellmarineproducts.com/category-s/612.htm
  5. Baby Rattlesnake - - chartreuse pepper
  6. If you don't want to use sandpaper, how about MAGIC ERASERS? I use them to clean up my cork on any rod that I didn't previously use cork sealer and it cleans them up NICELY

  8. Since you are a vet, go to experticity *, register on their site, and look up Costa del Mar. You can pick from many popular frames, at a VERY good price, some are even under $50
  9. 1/2 ounce, with a 4.5" live magic shad......I fish these shallow and deep, over grass, open water, through timber, and catch fish pretty consistently
  10. Those are what I started using 35 years ago fishing small ponds. They will catch anything that swims in the water. My all time favorite color was white with red dot. I caught my PB at 12 years of age letting it fall between a fork in a downed log and a 5lber smashed it
  11. Monkey Butt is the most productive color for me
  12. For me the chemicals that is in all of the bug sprays are somewhat disconcerting, and it was starting to cause some skin irritation. So, I started to think of natural ways to repeal insects and saw that lavender is a natural mosquito repellent. It does have a girly scent, but if that will stop me from trying to rub my hands/arms raw trying to get off the repellent, then I'll give it a shot and it has worked for me here in Texas. And the mosquito's here are the size of pterodactyls lol

  14. I hate the simple fact of spraying bug repellent and then sweating in the sun and having it run in my eyes or mouth. What I did at a lake on the TX/LA border is get a small spray bottle and some lavendar oil. Put a few drops of the oil in the bottle and fill with water. Shake well and apply it to any exposed area. One things that mosquitos do not like, is lavender.
  15. I do not have a AR platform build in the works, but I do have a RPR in 308 that I am working on gathering funds to start the build. I am now SAVING for a scope/rings/bipod
  16. If you are pretty good with not losing your gear, and don't beat it up like a spoiled 12 year old, then the price of a good pair of sunglasses is well worth it. I've had the same 580G for 4 years now. I've fished just about every weekend if not every other weekend, and started tournament fishing last year, and they've held up well. With the investment put into a good pair of glasses, I've had a lanyard on mine since the day I bought them, as I could not fathom watching a pair of $200 + pair of glasses sink to the bottom of a lake. Once you get them, you will kick yourself for not getting them sooner, as they can make your time much more enjoyable on the water, than what you ever could have imagined. You will be able to see things better, and I can say this for me, my eyes are not as fatigued as they used to get.
  17. I have a pair of the silver mirrored lenses, and yes they do have a copper base to them. Here is an excerpt from their website: https://www.costadelmar.com/shop/sunglasses/technology
  18. 50lb braid, 3/4oz egg sinker, glass bead, clacker, barrel swivel, 15 mono leader about 4-5ft with a straight shank off set worm hook. I use this on a Duckett Terex 7'4" heavy action, with a AG Revo STX-HS
  19. Thank you so kindly sir
  20. I've been known to tinker with the AR platform
  21. I swear, yall are just feeding that rogue baitmonkey..... online stores has already got soooo much money from me already this year.
  22. Check out this video, also search other youtube videos for help.
  23. Gee Beav, what you go and do that for?
  24. When I was a kid and our local pond was over run with turtles, if we caught one, we would drag them up on the bank, put our foot on their back, pull our line until their necks were stretched and begin to remove our hooks. Nasty lil fockers, and some of them had to be sacrificed during this process.
  25. It has a different fall rate, and falls completely different. A T-rig the craw will fall with its butt following the bullet weight. Rage Rig, the bait falls horizontally because of the weighted swimbait hook. And since Big-O designed the Rage bait line, he can make up whatever name he chooses to go with his line of soft plastics. Fish More...Stress Less
