I'd be leery bending that back while it is attached to the blank. That is a very stout guide and takes a lot of force to bend that. I'd be concerned with crushing the blank while you're trying to bend that back.
My trailer is 16 years old. I've replaced the bearings once. I don't use bearing buddies. There is a Safe-T-Lube axle on the trailer. The grease fitting is in the end if the spindle and there are ports in the axle to inject grease into the hub.
Reaming won't fix the mismatched OD. I could sand it to match, but it's think the EVA is a tacky look to finish off a nice carbon grip.
And the butt cap tenon is undersized, so it's a sloppy fit.
But those EVA end caps are absolute trash. Not even close to matching the OD of the grip.
I'm going to toss them and turn acrylic caps to fit the couple sets I bought
I don't know where my last reply went.....grrrr.
Unless something has changed with the Avids since I sold my two MLXFs a few years ago, they were equal in power to my sC4 and SC5 MLXFs.
I would place the victory MLXF at about the same power as my old avid Light/Fast.
PA changed a couple years ago from 2 rods to 3 rods, no extra fee required. Which really surprised me coming from a state that charges extra for trout and extra for Lake Erie.
I plan on upgrading to one of those either when my existing TM dies, or I have to replace the cover on the boat, whichever comes first.
I have a brand new LSS1 unit still in the box, bought it when Gander went out of business the first time. Don't know if I want to install it or sell it.
Then they are no longer budget boats once you add those items. You can get on the water in a tracker bass boat for $17k. Is it we'll equipped? No, but do you need all that? I've been fishing in my boat for 16 years without spot lock. I also have no anchor poles. They are not necessary. I do have good electronics. They are old also though.
Not to everyone. I can tell but i play with many many blanks. just like with rod power though, one manufacturer's XF is another manufacturer's F. I think St Croix's action ratings are pretty true in SC3 and up. The jury is still out on the Vctory series. I haven't played with that MLXF enough yet. I will say this about it:. It's nowhere near as powerful as an Avid/LTB/LE.
NEVER caught a fish on a skirted jig. I can count on one hand how many fish I've caught on a spinner bait.
Over the years, a tube probably has been my most catchingist bait with various finesse worms dropshotted creeping up in second
I buy my rods to fish with too. I also buy my cars to drive, but i sure want the paint to be smooth and all the body panels to fit together properly, even the cheap ones.
Ill have the owner post the pics then. I have no reason to lie. I've seen NRXs even worse than this and they are notorious for it. Why is it so hard to believe that Shimano puts out crap too?
