  1. Longevity . . . . Eh, not so much. The lenses are very fragile I have had two pairs broken now due to just bumping my head against something lightly with them on.
  2. I've read a few times about adding water to your marine batteries every month or so? I have yet to do this though and would like some more information on how and when to do this. Please feel free to add in other tips for keeping batteries in good shape, thank you.
  3. People say it's bad for the fish's slime coat when it is laid in grass/boat carpets/etc.
  4. Is there a specific type of strap that is used? I did not receive nor have I come across anything like that yet. Sorry for all the beginner questions :
  5. The Daiwa Samurai will hold the color, is soft and quite moving through the guides. I do not know what Wayne and Steezy are talking about but the Samurai braid does NOT hold its color well at all, I've had it on 3 different combos 20 55 and 70 and they all lose Color very very very fast and what makes it worse is it usually soaks into my silver reels/cork and its a pain in the arse sometimes impossible to get it to come off. Power pro on the other hand has not changed color at all.
  6. You have it right, the lever lifts up and that comes up then after the ball is in you lock it down. I just dont understand how the lock works, there is nothing in it in the picture, and I can barely fit the coupler pin in there, I have no clue how its supposed to work or what is supposed to go there
  7. Here it is. There's the hole below the arrow and the lock sign I assumed was for the coupler pin, but it doesnt seem to do much when In just hangs there. http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605_SPM2381425002P?sid=IDx20101019x00001a&ci_src=14110944&ci_sku=SPM2381425002 That's the pin I'm referring to.
  8. Oddly mine doesn't look the same, its an 86 trailer though, it has a small hole below the lever and says lock with an arrow pointing towards it, When I hook the pin through it though it doesn't do much to stop it, I might have to take a picture if nobody is getting what i'm saying
  9. I think I may need to loosen the one piece a little to get the pin to go in easier, but how does the pin work when its in place? It just hangs there on my trailer and if I lift the coupler latch up it still can unlock, I dont understand how the pin is supposed to stop it unless I am using it wrong?
  10. Can anyone give me a quick run down on trailer maintenance? Things I need to be doing/checking for every time. I just bought my first boat for real cheap and I want to be as safe as possible. And can somebody explain to me how the coupler pin works to lock it in place? I see the hole that says lock and I can barely slide it in there but once it's in the coupler can still unlock? Thanks for the help
  11. I actually wish they didn't either. It would have been great to have that as the record and CA is the only state I know of that has that "hooked inside the mouth" law. I'm pretty sure ALL states have that rule when you are sight fishing for bass, if not add VA to the list
  12. Awesome but I doubt that its going to be as awesome as the Daiwa/Megabass joining was, Jackall doesnt even make reels so I'm assuming it will be basically Shimano reels with a little bit of JDM to them.
  13. Weird, I've always been told have the line coming off the top of the spool?
  14. Has anyone had any experience with these before?? I'm looking to get a frog rod to pull double duty for hollow and soft bodied for now. Whats everyone throwing their frogs on currently?
