  1. Glad to see jerks are workin' for ya!! What Delaware Valley Mike was talkin' bout was Storm Suspend Dots. They also come in strips. Heres a link to the dots and strips:http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Product_10151_-1_10001_202____SEARCHRESULTS?ordProd=Y&CMID=TOP_selectitems#itemDetail
  2. What's he know? He's a good fisherman and a fine christian man. He does have his quirks, like his " GOO" expression on a good strike, or his love for bronzebacks(J/K), but he is a great man, IMHO. As for the quote, it makes sense. Some days they'll bight anything, other days they need green pumpkin or craw orange swirl.
  3. Make LONG casts, use 8lb or so mono, use a realistic color based on availible forage, and come in First!!!!! Also, consider replacing your spinnerbait with a swimbait, preferably a soft one in a smaller size. Its usually better than a spinnerbait in clear water.
  4. I just kinda pop the rod tip to make it "wag". I use a short hard snap on a lotta snap. Kinda looks like the frog is sayin' NO, DON'T EAT ME NO<NO<NO<NO WHAM!!!! LOL. As for leg length, just toss it outta the package. Dosen't need trimmin' in my experiance.
  5. I don't know.... A. The colors will bleed B. Color does matter. Not that I'm sayin' Red Shad and Red Shad Black Flake are both needed, but you need to match the hatch to a point, as a Senko is usually a drop or slowly fished bait, therefor giving bass time to study it, and when their (the bass) keying in on a certain food type, it will most likely pay off more to have the correct color. Just my 2 cents. "Somedays color dosen't make any difference in the world, other days it makes all the difference"- Al Linder.
  6. Nice!! As for the skeeters and moths.........Pre-Scented!!!! Is that a C-4 crank?
  7. Those are nice!!! Bet theres some bass out there that would CRUSH those!! Ever try 'em?
  8. Its Senko_77, and I know what ya mean. People stop and stare at the blue guy who hasn't spoken in a week and a half!!!!
  9. I don't fish many jigs, but for color, size, and all round looks, I love ADORE a Booyah! Baby Booh 3/16oz jig in 3-D Watermelon Red:http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/SceneSevenDisplay?catalogId=10001&storeId=10151&langId=-1&productId=-51623&scene7Path=BassPro%2f76000%2foptimized%2f76255_psd.tif&sourceName=images2%2f76000%2f76255.jpg&type=1&linkEnabled=false With a Yum! Chunk in Watermelon/Red Flake(02):http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/SceneSevenDisplay?catalogId=10001&storeId=10151&langId=-1&section=Home&productId=-58615&scene7Path=BassPro%2f248-532-02&sourceName=images2%2f200-000%2f248-532-02.jpg&type=1&linkEnabled=false. With the red stripe aligned with the trailer this is the deadlist lookin' jig you'll ever see, and I beleive the best I've ever combined, not that I've done much.
  10. Don't know the weight, but a 20". It was right after the spawn, so she was THIN > > > >, but still a nice fish..... :-/ :-/
  11. Thanks guys!! I'm just startin' and happen to have the cement, so I was lookin' for a quick fix.
  12. I am finishing a popper, and the time has come to seal the wood. Can I use Fly Tying head cement for this purpose?????
  13. I fail to concur. I know and fish a lake that has NO shad, or the like. The fish won't touch a silver, white, or shad clored bait. Very picky. Just sayin', some lakes are different and require a special approach.
  14. Whoops!!! Must of mist that somewhere............ My stupidity is revealling its self anzzz zoooon mei lill ze oyoing lices ziss................ :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( LOL. J/K.
  15. So thats why I spend 8 hours a day on here........ LOL.
  16. You fishin' Estuaries?? I never heard o' freshwater crabs.........
  17. Yeah, I kinda figured that out............ :-/ Hey, live and learn. I'll (hopefully) be doing more on it today.
  18. Nice swimbait!!! Would yo mind explaining the thought process behind the popper..Kinda blows my mind.LOL. j/k. Nice
  19. OK. Thanks for the help. I just started a single joint sunfish swimbait. I am using Beach wood for strength, and putting the screw eyes with the grain instead of trough the grain lik I'd like to. If I cut the wood like I want it i splits with the grain :-/ I am using mainly a draw knife and sanding paper at present. Its a blast. Will report more soon. Anybody else wanna throw in a tip or two??? If so, feelfree to.............LOL.
  20. Also, how do I know the swimbait will swim right? Do I just carve and hope?? And where do I get wood? Does tree type matter??? Sorry if this a lot of ?'s, I'm just bustin' at the seems to get goin'!!!!! :D :D :D
  21. Theres your problem.....dusk??? Stick with the buzzbait. Also, don't use that in murky water, please. Not the bet idea. Its intended for still, clear waters. It won't have enough vibration and color to be seen in murky water. I'd stick with a smaller soinnerbait, say 1/8 white.
  22. What time at night, and what was the water clarity????
  23. I'm with you pal. Let me know when your heading out and how long we'll be gone. Sounds good to me!!!!1
  24. I feel for ya :-/ :-/ Nut hey, thats fishin'. BTW, if ya need a place to store those big, heavey boxes, let me know. I'll be happy to help ya out!!!!! While your lookin', why don't you "test drive" truck and dock your boat at a safe place?? Might work better than sittin' on tera firma. Just a suggestion.......
  25. Homer Circle.....................
