  1. Big Bite Baits made something similar to this I believe and it has not caught on well at all.... With proper marketing a Rage Tail wacky worm could sell well, but having KVD around throwing a few here and there might help
  2. Nice looking jigs. My first weren't anywhere near that.... geckert nailed it on the whip finish. It will make a big difference in the durability of the jig. Also, check out some clear nailpolish for coating the thread wraps. It also increases the durability.
  3. Nice job! Sure has got to be great to be getting out there this time of year......
  4. That's just wrong.....
  5. Beat me to it!
  6. I really don't prefer anyone's jig as long as the hooks is good quality. The only way I fish the jigs is with the hook exposed, with the other situations being covered by a good 'ole Texas Rig. I actually fish tubes T-Rigged 99% of the time because of the weedless virtue of a Texas rig, but ther are some weedless internal heads out here. They'd be worth looking at, but I just haven't got around to that.
  7. 1/8 or 3/16oz. These will serve you well unless you are fishing current or deeper than 8 FOW. This is a personal preference call, as are 99% of the answers you will receive, as different times call for different measures.
  8. Go with a Duckett and a Quantum Catalyst PTiC Spinning Reel. Sharp looking combo and the rod is an amazing piece of equipment.
  9. Skeeterman225- Those colors a great! I really like the concept behind your Sick Gill color
  10. That thing would have an absolutely insane vibration.....
  11. Thanks for the info so far!
  12. LOL. We all have to make it through some way
  13. Boat... As is the general consciences.
  14. And, courtesy of after Christmas sales, a Revo STX on a Quantum Pro Tour Grigsby casting rod. Probably gonna be getting some Lucky Crafts to throw for the big brown fish this spring.
  15. $50 TW gift card $70 in Dick's cards, and a 10' 7wt. TFO fly rod. Life is good!
  16. The master has spoken... All take head.
  17. :laugh5:That's funny right there
  18. I rigged a jig, nice and neat.....
  19. I'd go with a litle more money into the rod and use the SX.... Just my opinion, but if you're not using the SX my all means get a better quality rod and go with the SX. And even though you don't like white rods, Id check out the Duckett Cranking rods... you'll start loving white
  20. Tackle Tour did a review on the Duckett spinnng rods.... http://www.tackletour.com/reviewduckettdfmm70ms.html
  21. When you start wearing saltater gloves for bass....you've got it good
  22. Lake Erie is within rage, but there is no way I'm takin a 13'11" boat out on that monster.... That local lake does seem to produce some nice fish, but I just can't break the 4lb. mark..... I know there has gfot to be better fish in there, I just need to get some pinned
  23. I understand that improper rigging is an issue in the poor performance of many soft swimbaits. This is not a case of improper rigging however. The issue is the fact that the tail will not thump or even more at speeds less than Mach 2. The Hollow Belly swimbait is so far superior to the shadalicious its not even funny.
  24. That right there is a LOT of brown fish! Beautiful
  25. DVT- That is crazy! I just about choked from laughing....
