  2. +1.. I have caught some of my biggest fish at night throwing a 7 or 10 inch Black powerworm or rage tail anaconda. I always stuff em with a rattle though. Gives me a little more confidence.

  4. thanks for all the warm welcomes ;D
  5. Hey folks! Been browsing this website for sometime and thought I would register and start posting. My name is James. I am 24 years old and have been fishing all my life... Mostly trout, salmon, pike and other cold water fish in Northern New Mexico/Southern Colorado. Living in Las Vegas I have adapted to now fishing for the warm water species we have out here. Lots of stripers in Lake Mead, Bluegill and the occasional bucketmouth or smallie. In the last 3 years though my main Focus has become just Bass. I eat, breathe and sleep bass fishing now! I get out to my local bass pond once a week or so and take occasional trips to Lakes and Reservoirs around the the Las Vegas Area such as Sand Hollow, Utah..Lake Mead, Echo Canyon, Lake Mojave.. and most recently Lake Casitas in California. I never really have had any fishing role models or people to give me bass fishing advice in my life other than watching Roland Martin/Bill Dance as a kid haha so I am basically self taught (the internet is an amazing thing!!) and I think I am pretty knowledgeable on bass angling now. I have a very open mind and am always hungry to learn more though. Well that pretty much sums it up on my fishing background. Tight lines and hope to talk to y'all soon. ~James Heres a couple of my favorite catches from this summer so far..Enjoy!
  6. saw it today.. was basically all I expected.. A action packed fun summer film. I went in there with the mentality of watching a fun film.. Not getting blown away with it by any means.
  7. this is true. Caronlina rigged work well also.
  8. Nice bass.. and im just as skinny as you man.. I eat more than my 200 lb brother in law but he gains 5 lbs if he eats a cheeseburger.
  9. If you can get out to the Pioche Area around april/may there is a reservoir called echo canyon. Now the bass arent trophy by any means but when it comes to numbers, you will have a blast. Its possible on some days to catch bass on every single cast during those months. Fish it at night for some amazing topwater action also. I took my wife and my sister there 2 years in a row now and both weekends had to be 200+ fish days for the 3 of us.
  10. x2.. i use P-line and use the palomar knot/imp clinch.
  11. 3 inch senko type bait.. dropshotted. Wacky and Nosehooked.
  12. ive been doing really well with a booyah boo jig black and brown spice with a yamamoto craw trailer in watermelon seed.
  13. Awesome looking fish. I wish I had your backyard. I would never leave the house lol.
  14. I have a few real close fishing buddies that still til this day keep their mouth shut on some of their spots. I don't see any reason you should keep hot spots away from your friends .
