lake lanier
Surface area-38,000 acers
130ft deep (deepest ive seen)
real clear, LOTS of standing tember, brush piles, and a lot of humps(was a big valley till flooded back in the 50's) and boat docks
more cold cranking amps the better (cca) and the cold is know to kill batteries also. and i like ac delco batteries i have 4 of them 2 cranking and 2 deep cycle, and i have a 3 bank charger, i charge them after ever use, and leave them charging till the next time i use them
i know its more then a $100 but get a shimano castaic its only $169, or even a shimano citica for $119. like said above you wont find a good baitcaster under $100
there should be earthier 2 or 4 scerws under the top of the motor, take those scerws out then the cover should come off, the you got to take out a few more scerws (in side the cover of the motor) that hold the shaft down , take those out then turn the shaft. or read your manual
sonar/gps- lowrance lms-480 (x-135 with gps) or the new lms 522c save the room and get a sonar/gps unit

see i work at a bait and tackle store were it is part of my job to tell people were and how to fish a spot but i still try not to just give it to them i will give them a general area of were to go and what to look for, and maybe a tip or two on how to fish that spot. but i do share some of my good spots to some people it just depends on who they are, if its like a guy coming to fish a tourny and its the first time hes been up on my home lake then i will go it to more detail on the spots i show them.
