how good are mustad hooks?? i just got a pack of octopus i want to try for wacky and would like to know what others thought of their hooks. how do you rate them in lines with other brands or did i waste my money?

nice! thats a beauty. especially from a pond. i love catfishing.never caught one a senko but did on a spinner. caught a american snapper on a 5" senko wacky though. its was near two feet or so. i use to go all the time catfishing when boat was running. in va i fished rappahannock for channel cats and the james for blues. those are the monsters here. those boys are BIG!! (well i just seen your from no va)

i hit them all up around here. bps, gander mountain, dicks, walmart, local bait shops. now i never paid any attention to sports authority.we're and kindof lucky cause bps, gander mountain, green top and walmart are all within ten minutes of each other. and i want to say theres dicks maybe 15 minutes from them

I chose green... Well.... because my boat is green.... LOL. All of the LED colors will not attract bugs/insects like conventional lighting. I would not recommend using rope lights. These units are waterproof and specifically designed to be placed in a boating enviornment. so you just gotta match lol. but very nice job. and yea unsteand bout the waterproof i fish in the rain alot of times so that will have to be my choice for lights thanks again.

did you install green for low light or bugs??seem like should help out and not attract so many bugs . also how much battery life does these light consume?? always thought about the rope lights for my tri haul.

i fish there quite a bit myself hunting run. my pb is from there a 4.2 lber. if not from the county though it will run $7 for the pass and $3 for the launch if have own boat. you can buy a year pass i want to say for 27 but its end when lake closes i think in october something. wayne p knows more about that. i will be getting my year pass when reopen and also im buying both passes ni and hunting run. ni res i want to try next. i hear alot about it from the guy in gander mountain.and the older guy who works in the hunting run shack. he fishes ni too. hes a very nice man. i sit in there usually talk to him for at least an half hour or so every time hes working. youll see him sometimes fishing with his son in hunting run too. just about everyone is nice to fish around. seems like everyone one fishing gets along well easy to talk to. i had guy help me with my depth finder in middle of the lake one time. but anyways i like the lake alot.

same thing i was gonna say walmart but mine i found at work lol. they was on ground. it has 4 light settings. 3 different light beams and 1 red beam. i havent used for fishing but at night used to install depth finder. sothey came in handy.

i have the eagle 320 too i paid i want to say 159.99 for mine at gander. im learning the differences now from the rocks, grass, and ground still learning logs and stuff but figuring out a little by the shade of gray. thick mats of grass i cant see through but im learning the grass edge. so im getting better at it. like which are my line and bubbles readings. u will pick those up alot. heres is a very helpful site wayne gave me that help me learn what i know. http://www.fishinweb.com/ it deals with the sonar reads of depth finders and how to adjust your settings. he explains alot. like his baloon trick.

way to go nice cat and bass. i do miss catfishing on the james river i have so much redemption there. i had two big ones get away while my buddy hook two 50 pounders blue cats. boy was i a jealous. all good though when get other boat running again i will be back out there. i think this weekend ima try a new spot for bass near my house if the base lets me in. they train there so hopefully theyre not training. sorry bout that again nice fish bass and cat.

sadly before i knew of your lures through this site i learned them from an employee at gander mountain in fredericksburg. think his name was john i could be wrong but i talk to him all the time when in store. and he was telling me how he was going to use it in his next tournament and see how they work. i havent talked to him since cause i havent been in the store for a couple of weeks. he seem very fond of the lure, showed me your web site, the lures, the videos., i tell you one thing they looked very well crafted from the looks to the action from the videos. yea i bet theres alot of time put into them. man the detail alone is outstanding. very nice job. ive yet to purchase one. but hopefully soon in the future. i was checking out the the not sure of name but the one that looks like bottom feeding.

reminds me of my lil brother back in the day getting pulled from a lil fish man that was funny me and my other brother gave him hell he had to be 13 or 14 at the time. now hes 23. and im 27 so wow ten years ago or so!

i thought that so went yesterday to a local pond near me that belongs to the base. the water was 76 degrees and caught nothing had some strikes but a few of those. one monster hit though i think it had to be another bowfin the way it splash on top of water. i was frogging in the lilies so i hope you and all ave better luck and me next time out lol. man yesterday was bad for me besides not catching anything had all sorts of trouble next time im listening to my gut feelings stay home lol.

for that matter than i would be just happy catching anything even if i had to result to dip netting. lol. 1 is better than none! i went yesterday and got nothing and the pond i usually rack them up too. me it was a very bad day for me i should of listen to my gut feeling to stay home.
