  1. The rod is a 7' MH-F(lure wt 3/8-1oz,line wt 10-20lb) with a 6.4:1 ration reel both are the Carbonlite. I was using this for cranks till I got myself another setup for that so now I'm stuck wondering what I should use the Carbonlite for? I have 14# XPS flouro on it but thought about switching off to mono or braid and use it for topwater Spooks and etc or just stay with the flouro and use it for the likes of C-rigs? What would be your choices if was yours? for topwater what are good line for that? I tried a lil search for line but only came up with
  2. X2 This is what I use.
  3. Same here for my team as well. Still get the ticket for them but it sure is nice when things aren't going the way you want you can just switch to another game. The tracker is very nice to have too. I just wish the local fox games or whoever is playing on those channels would play on ticket channels. So when I'm flipping channels we wouldn't get that screen searching for game or whatever it says.
  4. I'm trying these Bagley Shaky Jighead I also use these Strike King Tour Grade Shaky jighead And I'm trying these no luck yet on them though Damiki Finesse Miki Other than those worms did ok with the Squirrel Tail by Big Bite Baits. I got some Z-Man Elaztech. I haven't tried them yet. I'm trying to get more into shaky myself. What kind of rod are you using for shaky? I'm almost forget welcome to Bassresource!!
  5. Yea I didn't notice this either till you posted it. That is ugly.
  6. 6'6 M-F Gander Mountain tournament spinning combo.
  7. I never had a Tim Horton, not even sure they here either. When comes to smoothies for me and the wife it's either Tropical Smoothie (good wraps as well) or Orange Julius. Sucks to hear Clayton. Any word on the report to owner?
  8. Nice A-Jay. Does the bullet weight still slide or just the bead? But I do like this how does it work in lilies?
  9. I have fish some areas like this too. When does come to jigs. How do work through grass, a slow retrieve or tiny taps? Any ideal what to look for a grass matts over this spot might hold bass this spot I don't think so? Or do you just cast and work everywhere you can?
  10. Thanks for the report. So your power is back on? Hope your friend is OK and any ideal if had insurance on his home? Are you out of harms way with the flooding? We lost power here in my area for 29 hours. Still allot of places out around here. I played hide and seek with my seek yesterday while power was out. He did very well in the dark as well, he usually scare but we played with the lantern and flash lights. My mother came close to not losing her mobile home. Her tree fell on top of house but very little damage. The bigger portion of tree some how missed. It snap in sections. It freak her out though she was in her room where the tree hit. So far around my area I don't see any damage just no power still in most areas in allot of down trees. My wife's cousin did lose their kitchen. We was told by her family a tree went through the kitchen but that's the only damage we know for now. They said insurance is post to cover it. midnighthrasher- Glad to hear your safe as well and thanks for your report as well! No damage done on your home or area is there?
  11. How did you do? Did you try another style of jig, tube or whatever else was suggested? Any success?
  12. Power just came back on here in BG. Went out at 2pm yesterday and back on today at 7pm. Bad enough here for us a tree almost went through my mom's trailer here. A tiny damage on roof, hopefully no leaks. but her tree and backyard broke. Could of maybe should of been worse but thank god not! Hope all else is safe. Me, wife and our son Evan went to in laws. Allot of down trees from here to there Largo, MD. Almost all store are out till you get to Dahlgren with no power. Should we do a checkup thread for everyone that was affected or maybe Fat-G can add in a description for it? From what weather channel said New England was hit hard. god knows what those near coast went through. Any word from others? I just power on so I don't know who is out or worse. I too hope all is safe!
  13. Your welcome! Did you get to use the setup yet? How you like it? Did you register for you rod and reel for the warranty or did you need to do that?
  14. Thanks Glen for informing and keeping us posted!!
  15. So does that mean in your thought that Clunn may have took a step backwards from the BPS RCX or still to early to tell? and thanks for the input Rooster! Can you make a comparison to the Clunn version to the Skeet Reese itself?
  16. I'm not expecting much neither. I'm Va. It does have my wife freaking and the in-laws in MD worried. Just be safe and wish for the best for you and any that is in harm's way! I heard they have Delaware evacuating? My wife brother lives there so I hope he will alright as well!
  17. Go back to bowling if can afford it. Something I truly miss. Might have to dust off my gear and hit the lanes tomorrow or Sunday. I also miss going to driving ranges and batting cages. Golf I always wanted to try?? RC's sound fun. LOL at Slonezp!
  18. Ironically funny that the hurricane name fits in with Bassresource.
  19. Yea I never knew that, thanks!
  20. If can afford get some braid or line you know. At least it's something you trust. I tried t odo a search but only came up with what I posted. I use 50# in PowerPro and Sufix 832 right now but have use 30# XPS Braid before. it dig for a few weeks but was fine after.
  21. I haven't seen you post in awhile, where and how you been?
  22. Only thing I remember like that was Berkley Gorilla Tough braid. I tried to do a search but nothing close besides camo or that PowerPro Depth Hunter multi-color. Might be this brand Offshore Angler™ Magibraid, they have Multi color as well.
  23. Welcome to the site if all else fails on boat don't shy away from the jon boats. I love mine!!
  24. I would think it shouldn't matter where they came from but I could be wrong. I only used the Wacky worm hook and have bent them out of snags on 10# test(Suffix flouro). No rust or any problems hauling in fish though so I still use them.
