I love a larger chatter bait with a live magic shad on the end but their harder to find around here in local tackle store... on small body ponds I might toss out a smaller one cause you never know what might hit it lol. I caught 1.5 crappie on a small chatterbait. Years ago when I use to fish this very small pond. Man man it’s been years since I fished that pond... it had had some decent bass in there too... just an old neighborhood pond in back of the woods..

Hopefully the rod does well if not I guess I’ll try my other rods. I need to get another reel so I can switch my Curado back to my Crucial rod. I've had luck at the Lake by the house with Chartreuse. I haven’t tried any other color choice like Bluegill. The lake as I know does not have any shad and their not sure if will stick any from what I’ve read. looking at 6th Sense man they got some beautiful color choices but not in all depth far as lures...

I took my son out last Sunday... he finally caught his first perch. I brought worms with us and tossed out a bobber. This is was our first time at Ruffins Mill pond. water was very murky... I mean creamed Coffee color with little to no visibility. i caught 4. Two biggest was both 1.4

Off and on for me... some places been very hard.. but I think that had to do with the Murky water. That was bad lol... I couldn’t see shallow water till I’m dragging cross the ground... stumps till I hit them.. the deeper body was clear but the shallows was like cream coffee... I caught four. 2 biggest was both 1.4. The lake by house been off and on as well.., but we been dealing with cold fronts for couple days in the 70’s to back high to mid 90’s... of course the lake by the house is very low right now and over ran by Just leaving the ramp I have to keep my trolling motor up high as I can cause of it... nothing over a pound yet at this lake...

I just got this rod... it’s the one they recommended for cranks in my price range... I have a Crucial as well but sure that one is just M. heck I had to go look at the Crucial lol it’s a 7’M- MF.. Only MH I know I have that I know of are my Carbon light and Pro Qualifier. The pic is the rod specs. The 6th Sense line up what’s y’all favorite color?? Heck what yall’s favorite color for deep divers?? I’ve read white or dark.. so is chartreuse still a great choice or or not so great deep?

Well I went ahead and the 6XD in Oyster, 3 Dredgers in Firetiger, Midnight Pearl, Black chartreuse, Norman Dd22 in SX Shad. I always buy yellow perch but never fished with one lol...

Gander Outdoors and Dicks ain’t got nothing. Well Gander has yellow perch, white 6XD. Only local shops I have here around besides Walmart. Sucks we we ain’t got no good stores nearby

Definitely Mono. If I’m fishing thick cover like Pads than Braid.

I did a quick search of forums and couldn’t find a topic on it? But I’m going to get some deep divers but wondering what’s your favorite brand?? For mid range I run Bandit 200 and Strike King 3XD. Keep with the same lineup but deeper models? Whats your favorite??

Yeah... my seats , front trolling motor, batteries, about $1200 worth. Which isn’t a whole lot but when put the the work on decking and setting up the jon boat with pride... just to have taken sucks all the pride and joy away. This little boat boat is pretty nice I will say... still hopefully get a used boat down the line for bigger water. But I have this on a 500+ reservoir. I can handle a gas motor too just have to get a new one... i sold tbat that when I sold the tracker.
