  11. Yes fine to ask. Yes fine to split all costs. Maybe if you want to cover the one time registration for him as a good gesture of using his boat, then everything else should be split. For being an actual co-angler here are two good articles: http://www.flwoutdoors.com/fishing-articles/co-angler-clinic/140596/packing-a-manageable-amount-of-tackle/ http://www.bassresource.com/fishing/co-angler_clinic.html
  12. I use a rubber pegging strip a long with a bobber stopper
  13. What is that? I've found a good fit with the 2/0 Gammy Finesse Wide Gap hook. The shape of this hook really causes it to find it's mark in the fishes jaw. Sometimes, all you have to do is tighten the line after the cast to see if you can feel anything, and you end up hooking the fish just by doing that. Its called a moto hook, hand tied 50# mono guard, which you can also cut in half to make a V shaped guard. They are Gammy hooks in 1/0, 2/0, and 3/0 sizes. Very sturdy hooks. If you want the site to get them at PM me, because BR won't let me post the site. Its 3.99 for a pack of 4. If anyone wants I can pick some up for you, you can paypal me, and I ship it. Save you guys some money. They sell them on tackle warehouse. http://www.***.com/Moto_Hook_Weedless_Wacky_Hook_4_pack/descpage-MHWW.html Indeed they do! Must have been added recently. Cause the guy local to me actually makes them.

  15. I wouldn't mind another 72 hour sale like last month.
  16. I buy a lot from ebay, only had one issue buying a used shimano, they guy practically threw it in the sand or something because when it got to me, it was dirty. I will tend to buy new things on eBay, and it is great for finding rare or hard to find items in the U.S.
  17. Let us know.
  18. Just tell your son, "One day all this tackle will be yours, and then I pass my problem to you."
  19. Good golly what a pig!
  20. "Be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle. Live simply, Love generously, Care deeply, Speak kindly. Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass...it's about dancing in the rain. Attitude is EVERYTHING."
  21. Rapala Dt 6 10 and 14 in Bluegill, red craw, or hot mustard
  22. Hands down best wacky rig hook Also if you want it weighted, you can crimp in a split shot to the shank.
  23. I wouldn't pay anything over 5K for a truck over 100K in mileage. But it would depend on year and model as well. 1980 - 100k vs 2005 with 100k is different.
  24. For me Shimano Caenan or Citica if you want to stick in your price range. The Skeet Reese reels, you do realize may perform just was well or maybe even better then some other reels. Just cause it feels cheap, doesn't necessarily mean it will not last you. Lots of people use them. I have no experience with them. And neither do a lot of other people commenting. Holding something means nothing. If you feel compelled to maybe purchase one I say go for it and see for yourself. You wouldn't be asking this question if you haven't already had a hint of interest in getting it.
