  1. In my local bass lake they love that stuff. I fish Cranks over it, and along the edges all day long landing bass after bass, along with perch. Biggest thing, is the hawgs will do their best to bury down in that stuff, so it's important to try and keep them above it, otherwise, they can be a pain to get out with all that grass adding to their weight. Paul
  2. Out here many people use the rig to put a fly on the end. The bubble gives you the needed weight to be able to cast a fly. For trout fishing, it can be killer! Never tried it with bass, but it should work.
  3. DT6 is one of my standard cranks here. I use Parrot. Our lake is clear, with 10' to 12' of visibility in most areas. Paul
  4. I generally just put the hook on the outside of their jaw where it splits. Works nice, doesn't hurt them. Paul
  5. Many ducks feed in the shallows on forage at the bottom of lakes not on the banks. In fact, on almost all of my trips, I'm fishing with ducks who spend the entire time with their rear in the air while their head is under water feeding on the shallow grass/bugs/minnows/ etc. Paul
  6. Eh, certain areas of Wyoming already have this law in place. Additionally, the NFS is recommending that big game hunters use non-leaded bullets here. (Leaded shot is banned for bird & duck hunting already). I agree it's a hassle, but at the same time, it is better for the birds who may ingest fish or leaded gear by accident.
