  2. Where are you mounting your anchor cleats? I have a Alumacraft 1236 Jon boat.
  3. Any opions on these Boats Alumacraft 1236 hull weight 125 pounds and can handle 15hp Crestliner 1236 hull weight 140 pounds and can handle 10hp. Alumacraft is Lighter and can handle more HP? Looking to purchase a 1236 jon and lending towards the Alumacraft any thoughts?

  6. My Brother In Law belongs to the "Central Florida Bass Masters" Club. They meet at Bass Pro shops once a month. I fished a couple of times with the club and they seem like good bunch of guys.
  7. WOW Ace High, That's a great story. I was able to put the new G3 in the water on saturday and it was really hot here in Florida so not many bites, but we caught a few. The boat was very stable walking a round and with may Brother in Law standing up front and me standing in the rear no problems. Very Happy fisherman..

  9. Hey Check out my new bass catching machine. It's a 2003 G3 1544 mod V all welded, pre wired with nav lights and trolling motor hook up. I can't decide on either a 15 or 25 hp motor. Any one have a similar set up or opion?
  10. Well I took everyones advice and found a G3 1544 modified V all weld jon with a raised front platform and pre wired with light and trolling motor,seats and trailer.
  11. Thanks for the replys... what if it was set up like "low budget hooker's" boat is that looks like a comfortable setup.
  12. I am considering buying a 12 ft Jon boat with a 36 inch wide bottom. Will I be able stand and fish in a boat this size?
