Large mouth i don't want to sound smart but i can tell by just looking at it. I catch alot of Kentucky's i live in Richmond KY and fish the river it is full of both but this is a large mouth.

Good call on the PFD this saved their chests and internals they both ware them every time the big motor runs kill switch also.

My good friend and my best friends brother were hurt this weekend in a local tournament. They were running the KY river in a narrow curve when the steering cable broke on his boat. They hit a mud bank and the boat went 4-5 feet in the mud. The driver Mike Hall has a broken ankle and leg also his pelvis is broken. He has a broken jaw and several facial fractures. The passenger Rusty Alexander has a broken ankle and pelvis his back is fractured as well. Mike has a newer Triton with a 150 intruder. They were hurt but are so lucky they did not hit a rock wall or stumps or trees. It only takes a second to get hurt or worse. The local rescue squad and members of the tournament helped big time.

I only use terminator spinner baits they make 2 different types one is cheaper. The larger ones are around $8.00 they ware and ware but they still break but wont bend. I had one to break this weekend but i had used it all year. I fish the river alot and i will say i am rough on baits, you have to be where they live. For my money you cant beat terminators.

Sounds like a good deal to me i would drive 23 hours to get it. I would love to have that boat. My boat is a 1976 Bummble Bee with a Merc 140. I bought it for $1300.00 and knock on wood have not had any trouble with it in the year i have had it.

I did separate the tail but the ones i bought were from Wal-Mart and not in the hard pack just loose in the bag. You think this could be my downfall?

Thanks for all the info i will just have to keep working with it. I think it will for sure catch fish i just need to tweak it some. I wish i could show you a picture but i only have access to the Internet at work. I live back in the woods you see just the woman and kids and dog and me. Thanks for the link but i think that i am rigging it correctly. I have slowed it some but not like using it as a wake bait to where it is under the surface of the water. I use mono so my line floats and my reel is a fast 7:2 with a rod i used for all my top water baits.

I can't get this bait to run straight it want to twist. I have the rigging instructions and think that i follow them to the letter. I am fishing it with a steady retrieve like a buzz bait. Should i slow it down? Should i use a swivel? I would like any help i may get this bait seems to make fish want it but with the twisting they just look and not take the bait. Thanks for your help.

I caught my first jig fish two years ago and i havent looked back. I still like the spinnerbaits, buzz and cranks but jigs are my favs. I like the Netbait trailers anything paca craw you can't beat for my money. Stan Slone or Blaze are my go to jigs.

I like to use trap at the locks in the KY river. The swift water seems to be a great place for me. I don't use them as often as i should in calm water or in the local lakes. For me they are my go to bait at the locks.

Ky River Bassmasters good bunch of guys fish allmost year round. Don't let the name fool you they fish lakes also. Google them for more info.
