Now what happens is it turns on, as in push on, beeps, but no LCD, if you put your face right to it, turn head sideways and squint, than can faintly see a screen. So your suggesting that i take the back off and look for loose connections? Not at the base where it click in?

My Hummingbird 300tx no longer has a display, yet it beeps, full battery power, any ideas anyone?? Fuse is good. steve
