  1. I'm with Robby here, I usually take 1 tackle bag, and 4-5 rods and my culling system. No excess gear if it's not my boat, though I will usually have quite a bit in the hotel for swaps as I see fit day to day.
  2. Flipping / Pitching docks... 15-20# Fluoro or Copoly. I like Seaguar InvisX 15# or CXX in 17-20# for docks depending on what the area is like. Flipping / Pitching mats... 65# braid of your choice
  3. I loved shining force... do they have something like that for the ps3?
  4. Yeah should be an ok game... wish it was turn based also...

    Windows 7?

3 cheers for Ubuntu or openSUSE? What would you get if you crossed microsoft with open source applications? A Mac. Argue it all you want, if you know half as much as you think about computers, you know that mac trumps windows in many ways. The coding is more sufficient, it makes programing a dream. The reason so many dislike mac's is because they have used windows for so long when they switch to a mac the interface is different and they are unwilling to change. Lets state a few FACTS: 1) (Talking strictly new models) A Mac boots significantly faster than a PC. 25 seconds vs minutes, also has significantly more reliable power conservation and sleep modes. (Less flashy lights also, why is it it seems all new PC laptops look like they should be hanging from a cord at a rave?) 2)Macs use higher quality components. 3) (Putting Linux aside for a moment) OSX + Windows is better than Windows. Mac's can run several virtual desktops for your various needs without notice of a slow down. 4) Significantly more opensource applications. 5) More useful applications out of the box. (Look at what OSX comes with, I dont feel like listing them all) Though take a look at time machine... makes back up so much easier and more efficient than anything windows offers. 6) File sharing MAC vs Windows... enough said. 7)All MAC's can run Windows natively. No PCs to date can run OSX natively. 8) Customer Support is better. 9)Multi touch technology... even if you sleep with your PC in your bed you have to admit... MAC leads the industry in multi touch tech... and it is cool as hell. Not trying to bash PC's or Windows but from my OSX trumps Windows significantly from a program and applied use stand point. Now I do have Windows 7 installed also on my mac, along with OpenSUSE. I can switch between the 3 with the click of a button and have complete access to anything I could possibly need. Lastly, MAC's do look better cosmetically to many people. This is the point that many think is the reason people buy MACs, and for many it probably is the reason they buy their MACs. It is those people who probably DONT need to buy a MAC as they will never look into or care to utilize the full functionality that a MAC offers but rather buy it for the appearence they think it gives them. I personally bought my Macbook for the programing capabilities. It makes my life much easier, also makes running a home network seamless. If you've ever tried setting up a wireless network with wireless TB servers accessable in your home or large media servers with a PC you know what I am talking about.
  6. Oh this makes me so very happy... possibly my favorite place to fish and finally some home field advantage... Central Division March 20, Lake of the Ozarks, Osage Beach, Mo. April 17, Lake Ouachita, Mount Ida, Ark. May 15, Kentucky Lake, Gilbertsville, Ky. July 24, Mississippi River, La Crosse, Wis. Central Regional Indiana University Oct. 30-Nov. 1, Lake Monroe, Bloomington, Ind.
  7. I have a mixture of Cavitron and R2S. Both great.
  8. Clark, send me a PM. I'll send you some extras to help cushion some of the things you lost.
  9. Wow I don't think I have ever had an employ communicate with me in my local walmart... until I got to the checkout.
  10. I have a few questions for anyone who works in this field that I would greatly appreciate a few responses to. I am currently in the school of engineering, heading toward a degree in civil engineering, with focus most likely in hydraulics or environmental. Though I have a few concerns. 1)How vast is the job market? I always assumed there would be jobs, but seeing how things are currently its starting to make me wonder. I really don't want to be restricted to one area of the country. 2) When I originally set out for this degree, I saw the field was growing, it still appears to be, I was wondering what the insider view is? Is this field really growing? Do you see a 30+ year career striving through that period? 3) Physics based Calc, Physical Chem etc etc... I can do it... I don't like it but I can do it, passed all my classes with A's (except the one I'm in currently which I have an A in however, its not over yet) How much do you use this on a day to day basis? I assume its just curriculum and you would have resources and contacts within a firm, ie mathematicians, chemists, geologists etc etc who deal specifically with a lot of these things. Am I incorrect in thinking this? If I'm having to implement physical chem or do physics based calc formulas all day long maybe this isn't the job for me...
  11. I don't know much about camera's but got my wife a new one for her birthday. This is one of the cameras I looked at before ending up finding a "good" deal on a canon 20d that I got her. I couldn't tell a difference between the two ;D all I know is that the 20d is her birthday, christmas, valentine etc etc etc present for the next 50 years.
  12. berkley 100% fluoro (gold box) best I've found. Use 6# for drop shot 8# for other spinning finesse applications and 12-15# on my pitching rod. I found I liked this a step above Seaguar InvisX. Other than that, I like the yo-zuri hybrid, PLine CXX and PLine CX. For some reason I just really hated the fluoroclear maybe got a bad spool but it had absolutely terrible memory.
  13. team pampers, classic ;D

Well I looked over the scripting, besides a few very minor things that would do very little if anything besides neaten up the coding, I found nothing wrong. However I do find it stange that when running diagnostics, IE updates the site faster than firefox on a windows OS, but that could be accounted for with issues in firefox programing. Triton, if your running a firewall, anti virus software etc it could be as Glenn suggested. Maybe try booting up, going into your task manager, and ending any anti virus firewall etc etc and then trying. If this works for you then you may just need to put a bipass into your firewall or whatnot.
  15. I thought the same thing. Now she stomps on me 50% of the time when playing COD World at War. I too can't wait till Modern Warefare 2 comes out. My video game time has been cut down to me watching my wife playing tomb raider and assassins creed... :-?
  16. ;D ;D ;D Yep, that would probably do it lol.
  17. I'm currently trying out some of the new megastrike spinnerbaits, they are pretty good so far. Before these my go to spinnerbaits were always River2Sea.
  18. I would have been swimming in a heart beat.

I have this same problem. I have 2 computers, a desktop that has Windows Vista on it, and my macbook pro that I have partitioned with Linux(openSUSE) and OSX. My desktop can't get to the forums hardly ever, but I have never had a problem on the mac. I design websites as a hobby and have seen some crazy stuff. Website opens correctly in firefox but not in IE, works on windows but not on OSX... as many issues as I am reading about this lately I have a feeling it may be a scripting error. Maybe I'll do a good deed and go over the page source, wont be able to fix anything but at least could email Glenn any scripting errors I may find to get to his web guy.
  20. Yep
  21. For you video game geeks like me... this fall is going to be ridiculous! Borderlands Modern Warfare 2 Assassins Creed 2 Dragon Age: Origins will be the 4 I will likely be picking up
  22. I usually throw a 1/4oz jig head with 10# fluoro on spinning gear.
  23. I have a custom target 2 and love it. Wouldn't trade it for anything, I have fired many side arms over the past 10 years and nothing comes close to this, weight, natural zero, everything is perfect.
  24. I dont like the clackin rap, well the bait is ok, I just hate the sure set hooks.
  25. I like XCal also, but usually throw 1/2oz. This is a good weight to work in any depth.
