  1. I feel your pain about losing that fish....i am an avid muskie fisherman and at the end of the last year i lost a 50+ muskie because my liter snapped, but thats what keeps you going out to try and get her again
  2. just got into it as well....my first cast with a booyah jig/chunk trailer i caught into a 4 lbs largemouth....Gotta love it.. Also when/where is the best time to use jigs?
  3. I was just at cabelas and they said that i should try the weight that looks like a pencil bc it doesnt get caught up as much...do you guys use this type of weight? where can i find it? If you dont let me know what in your opinion is the best weight and size. Thanks
  4. yep...i have the chartreuse one. It produces some huge hits but i only seem to get the fish in the boat 1/3 the time....i dont make it weedless anymore because i was always losing them, just remember to be patient, and wait a second after the hit then set it.
  5. i dont have any BPS in Minnesota :/ only Cabelas....i guess i could buy it online, but i would kinda want to check it out first...Any others?
  6. I am upgrading my baitcaster setup within the week and need to get some of your opinions on what to get...i already am set on the rod, which is a fenwich eagle GT (ive always fished fenwick). I am looking for something that has a good breaking system and is a easy and long caster with braided line. Also just needs to be a good quality reel that i can use for years. Price range: $60-$80 how is the Shimano Coriolis?
  7. haha thanks i will
  8. I went out the night after and i think i got the one i missed...this is a 20.5 in 5 lbs Minnesota hog
  9. probably already been said but morning and night are the best times....cast under docks, trees, and shaded areas...Also retrieve slow and wait a second after the hit to set the hook
  10. How expensive are they? i buy the Yamayoto (or w/e) ones and they set me back
  11. No help? Come on guys i need this!
  12. I used this jig (5/16 oz) for the first time today, but didn't like the top skirt that goes over the jig head too much...do you guys keep that on? or snip it off...also i have the ragetail craw going with it and i was wondering if you think that is too big of a trailer for this small jig. Thanks
  13. I am looking to buy my first bass boat to start doing tournaments. I have been looking at Pro Craft boats around $7000, but they hard to find and when i do they are far away....is there another boat that has the ranger style that i could get for around that price? Thanks
  14. Yea i am going out tonight for some evening bass....hopefully i can get revenge on that biggy
  15. I went out on my lake this morning around 7 am and had the most fun i have ever had fishing....i caught 3 + 3.5 lbs bass and caught a total of 12, but it was how i caught them that was fun...i was using a lizard as a top water and these fish were destroying that plastic!! I did lose a 5 lbs though :-/
  16. I just went to cabelas and bought the rage tail craw and realized i bought the wrong thing (i wanted the chunk). Would this still be a good trailer? does anyone else use this one? Thanks
