I was just wondering if any of you could give me more info about this boat and it it is a good deal at $1800. I live in MN so that is a long drive i want to make sure its worth it. Thanks, VC
  2. GT70 MH Is that what you were asking for?
  3. A few months ago i purchased an HMG for $50!! Yea it was a sweet deal, but im starting to wonder when i can use it. It is a 7' MH (doesnt say the action on it). I was hoping i could use it as my frog/pitching rod, but i havent got one response back saying i should. I dont know what to do because i want a versital setup and a frog rod/pitching setup and i dont know if this fits either. Thanks, VC
  4. I WAS ON THE EDGE OF MY SEAT FOR A SECOND THERE!! haha i go to Bethel University in MN and i saw the link and said no way, but of course it wasnt meant to be :-/
  5. I guess my best fishing times are different then the rest of the responses....My favorite time is fish is around 6pm to sundown
  6. How long is this sale going for?
  7. I posted earlier about trying to find a descent frog rod. Cabelas has a buy one get one free on their casting rods. Would the 7'6" version work well with what i am looking for? Also would i get the xh? or H? http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/templates/links/link.jsp?id=0065081&type=pod&cmCat=catfeatfish Thanks, VC
  8. Thanks this really helps!
  9. Is there any particular time when i should think about using a more flashy chartreuse color?
  10. What colors should i start looking at in the with the Rapalas and Bandits? And remember i do live in MN where the prime bait fish for bass are bluegill Thanks, VC
  11. I am just starting to get into crainkbait fishing. I am looking for a few lures that are considered the top crainkbaits to through, and preferably at either GM or Cabelas (the local stores here in MN). I would like a shollow, medium, and deep diver in a natural color like bass or bluegill which those matching the environment in the MN lakes. Also i was looking at the Cabelas dig-it crainks has anyone used these?
  12. You don't have children, Vinny, do you. :-? Hey, I still check the listings for kicks every now & again. If I happen to see something worthwhile, I'll PM you; but you really should be checking every day yourself. Once Spring Fever hits (fishing, not baseball) prices are going to shoot up. If you see something you're at all I interested in - call. I just happened to call the guy I got my boat from within 2 hours of him posting it. In 3 days it was in my driveway. You have to be diligent because, like I said, the good deals go fast. And if you didn't know, like I didn't, no title for boats under 16'. Trailer has one though. And lifetime plates transfer to new owner of trailer. That's a bonus to look out for. haha nope i dont have kids still in college. Thanks for looking out and letting me know about that title tip!
  13. Yea i agree the dome was a horrible place to watch baseball, but a great home field advantage. Cant wait though for some outdoor baseball unless its still snowing :-/ BTW i love Busch stadium that place is beautiful
  14. ill be interested to see the response to this. This looks like it could be a very affective bait
  15. I have heard you talk so much about this line, but i just had one more question before i went out and put it on all my setups. I hear all this talk about using different lines with different baits. Does this line work for everything? In all situations? Or do i need to have more setups with mono and flouro on? Ps I have one other setup with braid for froggin
  16. Hey thanks for all the tips! I cannot wait for the day where i can fish till the afternoon, take my boat out of the water and go straight to Target field for a Twins game! This summer is going to be great
  17. Yea i really do not care about the boat year itself, but the motor...I want something that will last me a good ten more years until i can get myself a ranger
  18. I really love what Storm has done with their products the last few years. Before i use to not even think about purchasing a storm product, but i got a hold of the kickin minnows and loved them, and now every storm product i touch leaves me catching fish. I would think this lure is going to produce for ya
  19. Strike King Bitsy Bug are my personal choice
  20. I have seen some in the mid 90's for around 3000 so ill probably jump on one of those soon
  21. You are not going to get a newish bass tracker for under 3000. You are probably going to have to settle for an oldish one instead. Yea i guess i was thinking the newest i could possibly get is a '01
  22. Do you guys know of a brand i should check out that would be an the lower end of my budget. I have been checking Bass Trackers and Lowe, but if you guys know of other ones i could look out for that would be great Thanks, VC
  23. I have looking for a descent frog rod for under $60. I dont fish frogs all that much so i dont need a really nice rod, but do you guys know of a rod that will do the job for the price. I prefer a 7'2" or 7'3" Thanks, VC
  24. One thing i have learned is always be prepared when you fish. If you go in under prepared you could lose a fish of a lifetime. If you are using what you say that you are there is a good chance of losing that 10+ lb that you always dream of
