  4. thanks again for posting the flyer pictures:D
  5. u might also want to check out the shimano compres, falcon bucoos, or for even a lil cheaper the abu garcia vendettas
  6. i would like to second the warranty comment. it is great, especially at this price point. i think after the compres mojos with their 5 year warranty are the closest ones. not to mention they are quite sensitive and lightweight
  7. yeah i meant the curado spool, im switching it out this season, so i cant give you a definitive answer yet, but thats what i have read, so just passing on that piece of info
  8. ahhhhhhh do u know any site that will put up scans of the flyer? haha
  9. stuff that comes to mind, i think in the 100 dollar range, the falcon bucoos, abu garcia vendettas, and shimano compres are a good buy, you may also like the st. croix mojo. a little higher end, the st. croix avids, and shimano crucials are great. as im sure others will say, you will have to go to the store and figure what works for you, but those are my top picks in terms of rods.
  10. my guess would be a med. 7' rod. ive heard that changing the spool for the citica may help it cast weightless worms better
  11. how do u think the powell and the dobyns compare to the crucial? i only ask because i can get the crucial at a discount, but i dont want to spend the money if its not able to cast a hollow frog well.
  12. ive used them and ive caught fish on them. i think they have decent vibration and as you can see the detail is one of the most accurate ive seen
  13. so im looking for a heavy pitching/froggin rod. im from the north so i wont be tangling with 10 lb monsters...most likely. so i was wondering what you guys would suggest for a rod 150ish or below. i would also like the rod to be 7'3" or below since i fish from the back of the boat and long rods get unwieldy. so far ive see the 7'2" xh xf crucial as my top choice. would this rod be too stiff for casting a frog? thanks guys. -jeff
  14. any opinions on these? how do they compare to the vmc sure set trebles? thanks guys for the input -jeff
  15. does this end at a certain time?
  16. ive used owner wacky hooks...they work great and also come in the weedless version
  17. terminator t-1's, i just dont like how the paint chips off on the heads....
  18. has anyone used these? i have the cbr843 and was thinking of getting the mh 7'2" deep flex one for my deeper cranks. does the moderate action compared teo the moderate/fast noticable? thanks
  19. from personal experience i would say it does induce more strikes from the bass.
  20. prob spinnerbaits
  21. i think he meant to prevent the rod snapping? just my guess
  22. just saw the new advertiser jigmonster and was wondering if anyone has used the jigs. they appear very well made, but was wondering if anyone has field tested them? thanks
  23. around nw suburbs, there is lee's bait and tackle and angler's international to name 2. in chicago, henry's is a bait and tackle shop. just naming a few that u might want to check out.
  24. not to get too off topic how would shimano ratings compare to g. loomis and st. croix ratings. crucial rods specifically if necessary. thanks
  25. ive used it for a season or two...didnt have any knot issues, but it wasnt a groundbreaking line by any means.
