I've already bought water, getting some gas tonight and crank up the generator at my house and mom's. Making my list for anything else. We could use the water in the lakes though. I hope everyone stays safe.
I didn't think of that. This is my first boat. Atleast we are out and running in it, fishing as much as possible.
sfritr. There is the option of finding an old enamel chamber pot for your wife. I have a small one that can be stored in one of the compartments. I haven't had to use it yet, but it would be easier since she doesn't have to be "on deck" to use it. If the guy's have to "go", they do. I just turn my back.
I'm not complaining at all, I was the one who bought the boat and have the (I think) best fishing partner ever..Fishing Cowboy. Just due to the economy, we budget when we can fish a bigger tournament and thourghly enjoy the smaller couples club once a month.
Save the money, ask for your fishing combos for birthday/christmas gift wishes. Make do with a little. That fish doesn't know what kind of setup has it hooked and the $100 combo can catch them just as good as the $$$combo. You can check out yard sales and estate sales for some extra tackle. You can sometimes score really well at these.
That car will need things.. never fails. It can range from tires, to belts, to much more $$. Carpool ALOT! If the buddies carpool with you, don't be shy about getting gas money. Carpool with others as much as you can too.
Limit your eating out to once a week..you'll be surpirsed how much you spend doing it and how much you save by not eating out so much.
Start an IRA! Open one with the minimum $$ you can, and sock $50 or $100 a month into it. What ever you can will add up to a GREAT Retirement plan.
Pam Martin-Wells was the first to put a limit in the boat both days against a 51 angler field in the 2010 Bass Master Classic and made the cut on the final day. She finished 22nd over all and that was an accomplishment anyway you look at it.

I recently took a trip down memory lane through my Dad's tacklebox. It was great. I still use one of his reels.
I fished starting with a cane pole, moving on to a zebco, taking the bobber off and began line watching. I would ride my pony and fish up and down Shingle Creek. I next used dad's jon boat and since the original oars were old and shattered, dad rigged up old "DETOUR" signs bolted onto shovel handles to use.
I guess I was about 10 and my little brother was 8, when we fished a deep hole in the creek. I was using a Rebel crank bait and I flubbed up the cast. It was within 5' of the boat. When I snatched it back to try again, we had a monster bass blow up right next to us. We were both splashed and slightly freaked out by the size of it and how close it was! I distinctly remember a HUGE mouth, fins and a LOT of water! We spent until dark trying to catch that bass! I was seriously into bass fishing then.
Great memories!
I feel the state messed up when they went for the murder charges. They should have gone for a lesser charge (even though they included them as additional charges), and Casey may have gone for a plea deal. We may then know what really happened, instead of trying to read between the lies.
I honestly think it was a case of an accident of either overdose of "Zany the Nanny-(Zanex)" or too much Chlorophyll being applied to knock out Calie, so Casey can party. Then she moved on to weaving lies to cover it up. She reminded me of Susan Smith who drowned her boys and made up the carjacking story.
Having smelled human Decomp in my former job, it is unmistakable for anything but human decomp. You can actually think back and recall exactly how it smells.
All in all she had her day in court, and was found "not Guilty". I don't believe it is the same as "innocent", but not "guilty beyound a reasonable doubt".
Y'all have a great weekend! Fishingcowboy and I are headed up to the Lake Seminole area to visit his dad and we will bring a couple rods with us. He has a great little pond in the back and Lake Seminole in front.
Be safe out on the water and the roads. See y'all back on line next week!
Cracker special with frog legs, catfish, alligator, turtle, all fried up. Add grits, turnip greens, roasted corn on the cob, homemade biscuits or cornbread, made with sweet creamed corn. As much sweet tea as you can handle. Swamp cabbage when ever I can get it, whether it's boiled or fried.
