  6. Started on a two seater Pelican with a 2 HP johnson and a 54 pound thrust trolling motor. Had it for about 1 year. Then I bought a Nitro X-5 with a 115 hp and 70 pound trolling motor new as an upgrade. Love the boat but after a while it got to small to fish from. Had the nitro for 4 years. I just recently (Two weeks ago) bought a new Skeeter. Bigger everything. So far I am very pleased with the upgrade.
  7. I do not have a holeshot plate. Correct the lines are also on the SI screen as well. Whats the cause? Attached are a different angle of the the transducer.
  8. I tried slowing down a bit and was able to get some awesome pics. I was the speed!!! I am getting about 3-4 wiggle lines on the top of the down imaging screen. I will post some images when I get them. Thanks for everything guys!
  9. Im getting interference from my outboard I believe. I got rid of interference from the trolling motor by installing a ferrite ring that humminbird sent me. My question is after looking at the type of interference I have, I am realizing it could be the location of my transducer. Dealer said that where they install them all the time with no problem. I am posting pics of the transducer placement and the interference I am getting on the dash mount Hummindird 998. Transducer is mounted on jack plate. It usually appears on the screen when I accelerate. Any suggestions on what it might be?
  10. Where do you guys get your skirts from? Im wanting to buy the EZ style jig skirts. Any suggestions?
  11. Thanks for the info!!!
  12. Make sure you heat the jig evenly. Try not to slant the jig when you are about the dunk it in the powder paint. Fluid bed helps a ton. Make sure you powder paint is really fine and has not clumps...
  13. Does the Trokar football jig mold only take Trokar hooks? Or will the mold accept other ones? Like Mustad?
  14. Smokin Rooster on a homemade brush jig! Fish it however...
  15. Gonna need the help
  16. Here some pics of my latest creatiions. I finally got a decent final product. I used 4/0-5/0 Owner DeepThroat Hooks. I noticed that when trying to pour three jigs at once, the mold would not close completely. This caused the jigs to have a little extra lead on them. I had to remove the lead after. I also noticed that when using the 5/0 Owner hooks i had better pours.( on all three sizes) Maybe the 4/0 don't fit well. Any suggestions or comments? Note: Using 5/8, 3/4 & 1 oz brush jig mold
  17. It was left in my car. Cadman where do you get your powder paint? Do you use a fluid bed?
  18. Im having trouble powder painting my jigs. Im using a fluid bed I made. I tried breaking up powder paint as much as possible but when I dip the heated jig into the powder paint, I get little pebbles of paint as well. Any tips of how to keep the powder from forming little peebles?
  19. Was there a drop in water? The other picture says 20-24ft or is it that your over the hump on the last pic?
  20. Nice pics! Installation has a lot to do with clear images. It needs to be done right. Then of course playing with the settings as well. I have 898 and I get some amazing pictures.
  21. Thats a great idea!!!
  22. Interference on the vertical lines. The lines that are circled could be your trim on your outboard. Interference as well.
