  1. Actually, I did the math and explained it to my madre. For $24, I bought 44 sticks. If I had ordered from ***, for the same $24 I could have gotten 100 sticks. That's more than twice the amount of baits. Ridiculous. I am now allowed to order online.
  2. Zoom: Trick Worms, Flukes, Brush Hogs, Lizards Yum: Dingers, Craw Papi's, Chunks, Big Show paddle tail worms, 7.5 in. Ribbontails GYCB: Senkos, Flappin' Hawgs, Hula Grubs Line: P-Line, Stren, Power Pro Reels: Shimano, Shimano, Shimano Rods: Don't care Jigs: Mine Spinnerbaits: Terminators Hooks: I'll take my Gammy's and Owner's any day. Cranks: Never use 'em but I LOVE Bandit's. That's just a few of mine. I also like Booyah, Strike King Spinnerbaits are alright, Wright Bait company out of Va. makes the best grubs in the entire world. Even though they're only $2 a bag, I'm not afraid to say that the Strike King Shaw's series plastics are pretty darn good too.
  3. my mom wont let me order stuff online
  4. I got some today (2/0) for wacky rigging Trick Worms. I've heard the hookset with these doesn't need to nearly be the eye-crossing, ground shaking steel-setters that some types of plastic-riggings require. Is this true? I've also heard that with Octopus/Circle style hooks, you just start reeling in when you get a strike. Is this true?
  5. Went to Dick's and spent about an hour and $30. I have really narrowed my most used baits to Senko-type lures, therefore I bought the following: GYCB Watermelon/Black Flake 5" Senkos GYCB #021 W/Blue Tip 5" Senkos Yum Watermalon Seed 5" Dingers Yum Carolina/Pumpkin/Chartreuse Dingers Owner J-Light Worm Hooks 3/0 Gamakatsu Octopus 2/0 And a big 1 compartment Plano box for all my plastics. This should hold me up for about, oh, maybe one fishing trip ;D
  6. .... And make sure you go to English class while he's in math class. It's Monday, not monday. Hahahahahaha now THAT was funny.

  8. As some of you know, I have been trying for a while to break my PB smallie. well today it paid off. Caught this big momma on a river minnow. Best fight with a bass to date. http://s709.photobucket.com/albums/ww96/Fat-G-2009/?action=view&current=Smallietrip018.jpg&newest=1 It was a beauty!
  9. I would keep every fish you caught under two pounds for a trip or two, maybe more.

  13. I agree. Weightless/Weedless I have been catching a bunch of 5's and a couple of 6's this year.
  14. That IS a toad. Nice bass.
  15. I am finally going to (hopefully) get on some decent sized smallies either tommorow or Teusday. My bro and I are going with one of our guide friends up to the base of a dam, and I am in search of a 3 pounder. This would shatter my PB. I am so pumped. Plan on using some topwater, jigs, and maybe some tubes. God I can't wait.
  16. We had a post similar to this once, and the answers were hilarious. Some people sing, dance, jump with the fish, talk to it, it was really funny. I put my rod tip in the water and reel pretty hard to try to keep the fishes head from coming up.
  17. Two and a half pounds. Here we go again.
