  1. I have, and really regret it..LOL Amazing rod. I love mine.
  2. Haha good lord dude. You're using up all your luck now! You're not gonna catch much in the summer, LOL. I hope I can do something like that soon, I'm sure getting bored of "casting".
  3. Bro don't ever touch a Cumara then...trust me. Glad you like them man.
  4. Wow how does it balance? I really might consider one now. Always wanted to try one, but I've always heard they were tip-heavy. It's all about balance for me.
  5. im a shimano guy obviousy ;D and my twin bro is a diawa guy so he has a hsta and i have a e7 while the diawas is a little smother i preferred the e7 let me tell you why 1st its lighter, casts better casting and pitching, fits in my hand better, drags stronger and im a big fan of the larger knobs hope this helps That's the second person that has told you that.
  6. If I hook into a Carp I'm putting my equipmemt to the test. That fish ain't stripping me down to the backing.
  7. It's just there to take up space. It doesn't matter. Just buy the $2 quarter pound spools of Zebco or whatever line it is from Dick's.
  8. I agree, their rods are VERY powerful. I wish I could circumsize my Cumaras though.
  9. Dude you have been so on them lately! I'm really happy for you my friend. Of all the people posting inthe Outing section lately, you hands down deserve it the most. Congrats dude! That is a toad! Way to go!
  10. For worms and jigs: Cumara, Avid, Cara t7, the list goes on. What will it be used for?
  11. x2, but if you're switching from a rubberband like Stren Original, DO NOT snap a hard hookset.
  12. How easy is AbrazX to manage? I might eventually get a spool for my Curado to throw t-rigs with. Then again, I might just stick with Yo-Zuri 12#. Do you still have a rig with AbrazX?
  13. x2, I bent a flippin' jig hook on a log trying to unsnag it. It was 12 lb. line. Very strong stuff. VERY tough though, hard to manage. I wouldn't feel underpowered throwing 8# or 10# on a baitcaster for jigs and plastics.
  14. How did he do it? Like what kind of baits was he using? That dude is really unbelieveable.
  15. Haha, I like his cowboy boots. When I was little I had a pair and a cowboy hat. My mom has a picture of me wearing just the boots and hat while I was taking a dump. Haha good times. Nice fish man.
  16. Wow, another picture of RW! I'm impressed Kent, LOL. Nice fish.
  17. Or you could use an NRX WITH braid and have the most unreal combo ever, especially if you had a sub-6 oz. reel. I do know what you're saying Chris.
  18. Anybody know what happened to -HAWK-? Haven't seen him in a while, figured since he was the OP I would bring it up.
  19. Sell all that junk and buy a d**n boat.
  20. TW, you can just pull the inserts out. If I want a size that is out of stock I buy the version with the insert and use pliers to pull it on out.
  21. Wow, great collection man. Love my Cumara.
  22. Just another reason I'll never own an Ardent. That's such a joke.
  23. Advantage is good for big baits, but it's a hoss and probably wouldn't be good for smaller baits. I would get a Curado 50e.
  24. Flipping small timber on 25 fluoro hybrid, 1/2 oz tungsten with weight stop (bobber stop) in 14 ft of water... They were on the edge of the drops in creek channels in front of spawning flats Big O www.ragetail.com Wow, you really have it down. Mind if I ask what rod/reel you were using? Fat-G, The Rod I built myself from 2 rods... An old Quantum Handle and a 7' Lumas heavy action Blank put together to make it 8'4" overall length. The reel is either a KVD or a Shimano Curado... don't remember which is on it right now but I like'em both. Big O www.ragetail.com 8' 4" - Man, you're not messing around ! So does that stick double as a push pole ? A-Jay Wow, that's a beast of a rod. Mr. Parks will fear NO fish, LOL!
  25. Hey Chris- I would love to hear what you have to say about this. Can you dumb it down though? I know a little bit about photography but I'm not on the level of John or soccplayer07. Before I fish a spot I pre-rig my point and shoot Canon SX120IS on a tripod.
