  1. When I get a new spinning rod, my finesse setup will be a 7'2 MF Cumara spinning rod, 2500 Sahara, 6# CXX.
  2. Oops, didn't see the other post. my mistake.
  3. Anyone using these? I'm looking for a jig in the 1/32-1/16 oz. range to throw on spinning tackle for a SUPER slow fall. Trailer will be a Baby Rage Craw.
  4. It took me about two and a half years. It took BASSclary literally 30 minutes. Good call, Captain Obvious. ;D ;D ;D
  5. Man I would pull my eyes out trying to drop-shot in 70 ft. of water. As a matter of fact, I would pull my eyes out trying to drop shot in the first place!
  6. Nice pick up man, I want to try a Veritas. I like the feel of them, especially the 7'6 MH.
  7. Wow Steve, amazing fish! Next time I go to Texas to visit my grandma I'm gonna need to hit you up.
  8. If I was going to get a specific setup: St. Croix Avid AVS66MLF Shimano Static 1000 4# Yo-Zuri Hybrid
  9. The real downside is that you throw it even when you should throw something else. I'm very guilty of this. I throw a Rage Craw way too much, LOL.
  10. Agreed, Twice the rod for half the money. I've made Several purchases in the flea market and on Ebay Agreed, look for and Avid 70MHF.
  11. Thank God , I was almost having withdrawals. I hadn't seen that picture for a few days. Hahahahahaha ;D ;D

    snooze

I could never get up at 5:30. I have to wake up at 6 for school, but I normally actually wake up at 6:35. On the weekends I sleep till noon. I hate wasting that much time out of the day, but I can't help it. I'm a sleep freak. I go to bed around 10:30 and am dead for the first half of school. Then again why do we start school at 7:25?
  13. Good stuff, I'm going to save up for a little bit and get a Champion Extreme DX744. I've heard nothing but good things about it. It's a very versitile rod as well. Beautiful peacock, I've never had the pleasure of catching one.
  14. Yup, thats my little tin beast. No name for the lake. It's just a strip pit thats dug out to build up housing foundations. Cost me extra to have the house built on lakefront property, but man is it ever worth it. That picture is standing in my back yard. That must be nice, I sure as hell wish I had a lake in my backyard. How big is it? Btw, do you like the 734?
  15. Atta boy Eric! I know you're loving that Dobyns. I'm with you on the flouro, gonna give it a whirl this year. Is that your boat in your backyard? That's pretty sweet. What body of water is it?
  16. Great rod, the Carolina Lizard Dragger is listed as a 7' HF, runs at about a MH with a slightly moderate action. Great spinnerbait and lipless crank rod.
  17. Fixed it, if you ever find a Core 50 for $150, I got dibs. ;D
  18. Out of the FC I've tried, (Seagaur AbrazX, InvizX, Red Label, P-Line, Trilene, Sufix,) I'd pass on the P-Line and go for some AbrazX, InvizX, or Sufix. I find Sufix as a nice medium between manageability and abrasion. Well I've been "specifically requested" to try P-Line first by one of my good buddies who is a pro. Plus I can get it for a filthy low price. I'll try AbrazX too. Ps- PM coming your way soon.
  19. If I try flourocarbon on a baitcasting rig this year, it will be P-Line Ultimate Flourocarbon. I have heard mixed reviews about the Trilene.
  20. Dobyns Champion 705CB, Kistler Magnesium TS Small Swimbait Special, Loomis BCR802 Mossyback Good stuff, how do you like the Mossybacks? I've been interested for a while but have always heard mixed reviews.
  21. Same here. When the low pressure system moves in the bass go crazy.
  22. Nice man, what are the rods?
  23. I like a 5/0 Owner Twistlock hook for plastics. I really love the Twistlock Centering Pin, it holds the bait extremely well. I've never had a problem with burrying the hook in the plastic. It's also stout enough for flippin', which is an added bonus.
