  1. I agree, I fished with a Zillion yesterday and it "just felt right". Fit my hand perfectly. I'm gonna have to find one to put on my Champion 735c. It was noticeably smoother than my Curado. For the longest time I thought they would have been HUGE and really clunky, but to my surprise, it was very small.
  2. Wow Grey Wolf, I didn't know you had a youtube account. ;D
  3. Indeed I enjoyed it! So you guys didn't catch fish until you moved to the lower? Thanks for the battery!!! Indeed, thanks for the battery John. I'm still in awe of the Zillion. ;D
  4. That swimbait is designed like that. And sorry about the BPS 360 box. I forgot I used it for plastics and didn't think to clean it. I didn't know it was warped though :-? :-/ Like I said in my posts before, PM me if you want some of the stuff I took out. :-X ;D ;D ;D
  5. Well, in a similar situation to yours, where we both fish places with bigger fish, I would put the 15# Hybrid or 17# XPS on the 734, and 15# Hybrid on the 733. Actually, I would use braid on all of them, but I know you're wanting to try new things.
  6. Nice fish man.
  7. Agreed, I think it's great line for a great price.
  8. Wow, what are those hand pours? I'll never do one of these. Agree with SPEED.
  9. X2, I've tried Samurai and 832 so far this year, and I'll stick with my Power Pro. It's just that good for me. Plus, the price is good and is very available at mostly every tackle store.
  10. I think the Shimano Teramar rods are excellent quality. The should run you about $120, butI think they are worth it.
  11. Just get a couple Curados...
  12. If you can't find any: http://www.***.com/Strike_King_Greg_Hackney_Hack_Attack_Jig/descpage-GHHAJ.html
  13. Wow, that looks incredible. How do you thing the legs will hold up?
  14. I don't own either of the two, but the Veritas feels like a better rod to me. Depending on cover, I would suggest the 7'3 Mh.
  15. As a side note, I would have spit a mouth full of my Grizz right in his face.
  16. First time I've ever had a kid mouh off to me. Don't know what you're use to, but it's obviously different than what I'm accustomed to. I guess I misunderstood your title, so its just two kids these days? ;D Look man, teenagers are nasty, foul mouthed messes. There's been two out of every 100 or so that are mouthy, disrespectful, etc. since the beginning of time, and you met them. Two ain't a trend. I never understood the "kids these days..." attitude. If you think its a real problem, step and be leader - do something about it. For me, I'm satisfied raising two decent men. Don't rag on kids these days, when its just a couple. Its like cursing those dam bass boats speeding all over the lake. You guys wouldn't believe some of the stuff I see in school. Well, I guess you would, but a select few a-hole kids are lucky I don't have a short temper. It kills me to see a kid curse at an elderly teacher or tell her to f off. Makes me wanna smash their face in a desk and repeat.
  17. I know it's hard to believe but there are still teens out in today's society that have good heads on their shoulders, and are motivated to do right. Now I agree 100% that past generations were much more respectful and courteous overall. As time goes on there has been a drastic decline in the overall mannerisms of society's youth, Which makes the future for people my age look grim... :-/ Like you and yours truly.
  18. Your point? I wanna see a picture, it's probably sweet as hell. I would have been staring.
  19. In my experiences, they suck. I gave them one last try today, and they still sucked. booyah and Strike King for me.
  20. Curado, it would look better too. It's also a lot lighter.
  21. Awesome looking fish!
  22. Wow, I can't believe you actually posted a picture! ;D Nice fish, looks like "The Swamp Monster".
  23. Fishing for me so far has been really slow. I think I put too much pressure on my ponds last year. Maybe they'll start getting active soon, who knows.
