  1. IBTL.
  2. I broke off a giant one the 8# one time. I'll make an educated guess of ~11#. It was a monster. Not a big deal, right? I just kept breaking off...casting, setting the hook, or just popping a snag. It was rather embarassing. I'm surprised it held up to my PB river smallie.
  3. Agreed Dan, I think I like this new place.
  4. Floroclear is the worst line I have ever put on a reel, period. Absolutely terrible IMO. hope you got a good spool!
  5. What are you using your Champion 735 for?
  6. Well, it got here. I'm addicted. I will be buying 2-3 more very soon. They just feel that good. I got the 735c, which is a flippin' stick and small swimbait rod. It will be great for pitching heavy jigs and t-rigs around tight spots in cover, and flipping in pads and weeds. It's definitely A LOT stiffer than I thought it would be. The details on this rod are amazing, the cork feels like God hand made it, it's balanced better than any rod I've ever held, and it just plain looks cool. You all should try one. It will cost you a lot of money though, as you will want to switch over to strictly Dobyns. Thanks David for the help.
  7. The avatar pics seem to be messing up, hope that gets fixed. This is a big deal for BassResource, I can understand a few things not going right at the beginning. But I am really, really loving this Quick Reply. It's the one thing I mentioned about upgrading the site.
  8. Fast reply, I'm liking that. You can also vote up or down. It looks weird though, but I'll get used to it! Really like the fast reply though. Looks great Glenn.
  9. I'm a rod guy, but my fishing buddy hookingem is a reel guy. It evens out. ;D
  10. When I was on the hunt, I asked about those as well. I was advised to stay away because you can get better rods for the money. I got a Cumara CUC-72MH. It's really a great rod. I would recommend the CUC-X72M. Or look at the Dobyns Champion 702 or 703c.
  11. If it does all that then why do you like it better.Does your e 7 handle better or something. Power handles, I just love them. It's also a lot smaller and easier to palm. The e7 pitches better too, which is more important to me.
  12. Dobyns Champion 735c, 6# CXX, hooks.
  13. Great frog reel, or swimbaits. It's just so big I would rather have a Curado e7. Edit: It is smoother and quieter than my Curado e7, and it casts better. I just like my e7 more.
  14. The fourth picture is one of the coolest fish pics I've ever seen.
  15. Thanks, that's the most I've heard about them. I can get a pack for $10 right now. That still seems steep.
  16. I'm game. They look legit. Patrick Sebile reminds me of the French guy from Talladega Nights.
  17. Anyone using these? I might want to try a pack or two for some spring fish. Never really see much about them up here. Thoughts?
  18. Yes sir. Have you gotten the swimbait setup yet?
  19. I got you man! Mind if I ask what your rod/reel/line/lure setup was? I like to see what people are using when they stick a good one.
  20. Really great video man! You sound like a beast, LOL. Keep 'em coming!

Just got back from the private viewing at the Siegal Center. That place was wild. They had a huge projector screen and there were close to 3,000 students there. Awesome. Then everyone paraded down the street to the campus park and they're still partying. I saw some interesting things for sure in the street. I didn't know a person could physically climb a stop light pole, but they can.
