  1. Haha Neil
  2. I agree, they are excellent jigs! Glad you like 'em!
  3. Nice to hear from you paul, have been watching your posts on Rage Talk. Nice fish!
  4. I caught a seven pounder on the FIRST cast one time, let her go and went home.
  5. I think the Fenwick spinning rods are sweet. They are just a quality product! Plus, I can get them for about $30 a piece!
  6. Cuamaras and Champion Extremes for me.
  7. I like those a lot! The Dobyns combo sounds sweet!
  8. Well I think all of the hype about what Mr. Dobyns has created is legit. They really are amazing rods. I also love my Cumara, I think for the money it is the best rod on the market.
  9. Hahahahaha! Funniest thing I have ever read on this forum!
  10. Oh my god that was hilarious!
  11. Agreed, but the Villain is a sick *** rod.
  12. 1/2 oz. Northstar Alien Head, black and blue, with a Rage Craw, black and blue.
  13. Shore fishing: Dobyns Champion Extreme DX744, Daiwa Steez 100HA, 70# Samurai - jigs, plastics Dobyns Champion 735c, supertuned Citica, 50# Fireline braid - pitching, flipping Shimano Cumara, Curado e7, 15# flouro - lighter plastics and jigs
  14. I hate crankbaits! I think braid would be best, though. Maximum depth, maximum strength and sensitivity.
  15. Oh lord, put your seatbelt on. This is going to be a long ride with people loving/hating it.
  16. Yesterday: black and blue swim jig, fished with a Rage Craw.
  17. I can spend $50 on Rage Craws like that. Mostly the Falcon Craw color. They really are far and above other craws in my book!
  18. Right on, if the pads are thick enough you can throw just about any t-rig and fish it as a topwater.
  19. Yeah fo sho! The CX is great line but has an extreme amount of stretch. You won't need to flouro leader.
  20. The more I think about it, I might get the 7'6 H for swimbaiting that would double as a catfish rig.
  21. Shimano Teramar. Honestly, I think that is the best value rod I have ever seen for fresh or salt. Seriously, they're very good rods. I use them for catfishing with up to 3 oz. sinkers.
  22. Really? PowerPro would do me? Pretty sure that would hurt, it might even cut.
  23. They're tip heavy, I would save a little more and get a Dobyns Champion 704c.
