  1. Yeah, I suck! LOL, just kidding. I think for the money, Curados are great reels. I like the Citicas better, but that's just me.
  2. X2, they also need to use the same diameter lines.
  3. Dude I know. It's kinda bad. It's like a dog tasting blood - once you fish a very sensitive rod and a super smooth reel, it's all over.
  4. As a side note: This is the first time in probably 3 weeks to a month that I've been fishing. Felt good to catch a nice one, especially with the way this one hit it. SLAMMED it. And for some reason, I though she was 8+ easy the first time she jumped. She looked like a monsta!
  5. How about an update on the black beauty? If you've gotten it lifted...we need pics!
  6. Red, I'll be honest with you man, I'm a Daiwa man through and through now after getting a Zillion. But, I have to say, the 50e is by far one of my favorite reels I've ever had. It's one that I'll never get rid of, unless someone gives me a free Core 50MG. edit: which is highly unlikely..
  7. I would go with the 50 for sure. I like Daiwa reels a lot more now, but the 50e has a special place in my heart. I had a 200e7 and didn't like it at all, the 50 is like a completely different reel. A couple e7's I fiwhed with felt like crap.
  8. I was at a pond you've never been to. It's a sweet pond though, lots of big healthy pigs.
  9. Snuck out today for an hour, threw a Red Eye Shad and stuck 3. Two were mega-dinks, the other was this pretty girl. The picture came out horribly, I wasn't prepared to catch a nice one at all. Propped the old point and shoot on a cinder block and hit the timer. She went 6.4, fall is finally setting in. Water temps are way down. Hoping to get a 12+ when I get the swimbait setup!
  10. Oh, in his original post he said MH/F. I've fished the XF and it felt tip heavy and kind of dead in my hands. IMO of course.
  11. Northstar jigs are the real deal! In the fall, a 1/2 oz Northstar Premier flipping jig paired with a Rage Craw or Lobster is so deadly!
  12. That's a pig Paul! How much did she weigh?
  13. Haha^ I hope your dentist can afford the tools to open your mouth! Hahaha just kidding man.

    Shaving

I just LOL'd all over my carpet. That was funny. It's so annoying, I shaved yesterday and guess what...it's back. I wish there was an on/off switch. I did get some Nivea for Men Post-Shave Balm and it halped a lot! No razor burn at all!
  15. Huh? My jaw has been popping a lot lately...and my teeth sometimes hurt from grinding at night.
  16. Read this: http://www.tackletour.net/TTForums/viewtopic.php?f=65&t=29702
  17. That's well-put, the 4 power rods are basically right in between the MH and MH/XF Cumaras. If you're using 1/2+ oz jigs, DX745 all the way!
  18. I have a Cumara 7'2 MH/F, a Savvy 734c and a Champion 735c. I have fished the DX744 and 745 as well. I wouldn't even consider the Cumara for jig fishing, especially 10+ feet. I use mine for small texas rigs and occasionaly a very finesse jig, like an 1/8 oz. I would take a look at the 744/745, moreso the 745. If you're dead-set on a Cumara, go with the 7'4 jig rod. I just think the CUC-72MH is waaaaayyyy too light for jig fishing in general. I think a 3/8 oz jig in less than 5 feet is about as much as the rod can handle, at least for me.
  19. I believe both of you. A jig catches the most big fish for me in fall, winter, and spring. Texas rigs catch my biggest fish in the hot months.

    Shaving

There's nothing you can do either... Letting it grow just itches liie crazy an shaving is such a pain. I'm already tired of this. Clary you could use a spoon to shave your peach fuzz brotha

    Shaving

This whole shaving thing blows. I thought it would be cool and manly to be able to grow a beard but it sucks. I don't mind the face but the neck is a PITA. Sweating right after you shave...hurts like hell. I'm just going to grow a grizzly aws beard like Dave said.
  22. Yep that's a good point. Looks like an 8 to me, but it was 16.4!
  23. Four 7 pounders, two 8's. 7.2 - Baby Thumper 7.5 - White spinnerbait, early spring 7.9 - Trick Worm 8.2 - Black & blue jig 8.15 - Black & blue jig Virginia Looking to get a 10+ this fall-spring.
  24. :D
  25. My boy Tony and I crashed a wedding one time. Just walked up uninvited. We both hooked up with two girls. Vulnerable.
