  2. Obviously at 18 I have no experience with these situations or any room to be giving advice, but I agree. Get out!
  3. WHO LET THIS FOOL BACK IN?!?!
  4. Oh yeah, chris sent me a few of these a while ago...guess I was sort of in the testing group. Haven't fished much this summer, but the few times I threw that jig I was really impressed. I like how thick the head paint is too.
  5. I really don't post a lot on here anymore, but I always love reading your salt reports. For a long time they've been the coolest thing in my eyes. I wish I could do some saltwater fishing. Keep posting reports, the more pictures the better!
  6. Amen, MUCH respect right here. Very well said.
  7. Nothin' much man! Chillin!
  8. Wow what's with all the haters? Last time I checked none of you work for a major tackle manufacturer. The dude obviously knows something about designing baits. Looks cool Steve.
  9. Agreed, that's gold ww2! Cuban coffee is incredible. I hate stupid people. I hate stupid questions. A lady at work yesterday asked if I worked there, when I was clearly sitting at a desk with a shirt that said "Pool Monitor", a clipboard, first-aid kit, throw bouy, and back brace. I just replied "I hope so mamn, I would hate to sit here and not get payed." I actually get pretty peeved when people ask really stupid questions, heck, even stupid people tick me off. I overheard a conversation the other day about the TV show "The First 48", the lady was saying how she was watching the show and had the realization that stuff like that ACTUALLY happens. NO ****!
  10. Wow, I didn't read the whole thread... lucky guess!
  11. I'm trying it tommorow, courtesy of the Greg above. ^^^
  12. I honestly had one on this spring that was maybe that size, but when she came up and realized it wasn't Big-Steve at the other end, she waved bye-bye! 14.2 Seriously, I did hook one that I know was over 13.....
  13. Yeah, I know. It sounds so stupid saying "I know", when clearly I'm the young, stupid, clueless one here, but I know. It will not be something I do my whole life, that's for sure. Turns out, I can't handle once or twice a day. I'm that kid that throws a lip in in the back of physics class and guts it the whole time. All of my friends think it's bad arse, and in the moment it's pretty funny. I've held ten minute conversations with teachers with a big lip in. I just don't want to keep feeding the money pit and always being anchored by a nicotine addiction.
  14. That's the kind of **** I DON'T want to have happen. I like dipping, and it's an activities thing for me as well. It sucks though, I've wasted so much money on it. Luckily my dentist said it hasn't done anything yet after two years. Sometimes I just do it no matter what, even when I don't feel like it. I think I'm going to try this: Dipping like once or twice a day, just at the times where I want one, it's a reasonable time to do it, and I can actually enjoy it. Gonna start getting those little pouches too. God now I'm ticked at myself
  15. Hey man, I'm really sorry to hear about your loss. My grandfather passed in the fall of last year, my grandmother the fall of this year. Needless to say, it was and still is tough on my dad. I didn't know either of them well enough to really feel anything, I saw them maybe once every two years, and both were expected. Just remember all of the good times you had with him and strive to be what he was to you to your kids and grandchildren.
  16. Answering the knot question, I finally listened to Hooligan about the San Diego Jam knot and took the time to learn it. It's my favorite along with the pally.
  17. Fishing dark murky water mostly, but have a couple clear bodies. Which ones, and which lens color? Oakley has a pair that looks good on me Costa has the best lenses (I'm assuming) And Kaenon... Forget Kaenon haha
  18. That's a completely generalized statement. Big Game has a lot of stretch, but will a fresh spool the first hookset shouldn't be a problem. After the third or fourth fish, it will start to get spotty. When you're using an 8' XH rod, even if the line is stretching at ~15%, a hookset is no problem.
  19. Hooligan's right, throw a hudd with a Smoke and then with a 400 TE and get back to me. Prius vs. 3500 dually.
  20. Thirty pound line really doesn't stretch that much if it's fresh. Since the hook dislodges when pulled, a hookset isn't really a problem. It gets sketchy after the third fish you catch on an OG wake and the line is as stretched as it's gonna get. Time for new line. Good job deep, you're pulling a SlimG right now. A dd is in your future, I guarantee it. Keep chunking and winding. You know they're eating them trout boy!
  21. Dude I was audibly laughing at those. Thumbs up A+ humor at its best. Bravo, and thank you sir. I needed that. Hahahahahahahahaha
  22. CXX in 25# and 30# test, PowerPro and Suffix Performance in 65# and 80#, very rarely 6-8# Izorline XXX (?) or CXX on a Stradic, and Big Game 30# when I run out of my 2700 yd spools of CXX. I just wish CXX didn't get stretched out, but obviously it does. I bent out a 4X treble with the 30# a week ago. It's really the only line I like to use for what I now do.
  23. Like times 10!!! Atta Boy DEEEEEP!!!!! So stoked for you man! I know your heart was going like crazy! all that hard work pays off! it's a sweet, sweet feeling man! Freaking nice fish dude! Hahaha so stoked for you man!
  24. Heck yeah! I like the 745c and 784c ML too.
