I have been doing pretty good lately pitching a 3/8 oz jig around grass and docks. The more natural colors like greens and browns seem to do better in my lake, it has about 4ft visibility. I use craw style trailers that match the jig.
I've got an old jon boat I was planning on redoing. It had been repainted at one point but now all the paint is peeling off. What is the best way to remove the paint chemical or a wire brush on an angle grinder? Also if I chose not to repaint it would leaving the aluminum exposed cause any problems? Thanks for the help guys
I had a point break off the rear Gamakatsu treble break on my spro dawg the other day when I caught a 4lber. It was a new lure and only the second fish on it. It may have been an isolated incident though.
I've caught a lot of bream, smaller sized bass, and a decent sized tilapia (first and only on a rod, guess I drug it through it's bed)
The ones I have sink they don't suspend
Dang, where are you catching them and what are you using? I've only been catching dinks in the shallows early. I figured all the bigger ones are still deep b/c of the low to mid 90's temps we've been having
I work maintenance on a course and will fish out there occasionally in the evenings after work. I found where the fish were by talking to a member of the course that fishes out there in the mornings. There are two main ponds that I fish and have caught a ton of bass, the majority of them being smaller but some good 4lbers and one that was around 7 or 8 lbs.
I have a pair of costas with the cheaper of the two glass lenses (400 think). I really like the green mirror lenses. I work outside so I wear them all day with no problems. I got them for $60, about half price on steepandcheap.com which is one of those one deal at a time sites.
Hey I need a little help,
I recently got 2 bagley balsa b's on ebay with no package but they look unfished. Each of the lures has two line ties that are attached to the nose of the lure. After looking around online I have not seen a b2 or b3 like these; Are they older or was this an after market mod?
Thank you for your help
HI
I am trying to find a floating/diving type minnow (stick bait maybe?) lure similar to the rapala original floating minnow, but with a prop on the back. The closest thing I have found so far was bagley's spintail bang-o-lure but I am looking for something under 3". Does anyone know any manufacturers or where I could find something similar to this? Thanks
