  1. I used to love TB until these two things happened: 1. They got rid of the chili cheese burrito (WHY, I ASK!!!) 2. I pulled into the drive thru one day as they were getting a truck delivery and noticed that they were being shipped USDA Grade E meat. For those of you that don't know that is about one step up from horse..... Although, at 2am even mister ed sounds pretty good.....
  2. GREAT SHOW. I just hope it doesn't "jump the shark" and start getting too over the top.
  3. I have fished Lake Orion and Lakeville with great results. I have heard that Sylvan has some monster smallies though
  4. If you are just looking to fish smaller waters and inland lakes I would also suggest you look at a Pond Prowler or Bass hound boat www.directboats.com/94bahofibo.html I have had two of these in the past and were fantastic. They fit in the bed of my truck, ran great with a 40lb trolling motor and can go almost anywhere. Good Luck
  5. MMMMMMMMMM Venison..... Season is almost here............... Can't wait till Oct 1
  6. That would have been fun as
  7. I recieved this same thing in the mail. Didn't do anything with it though. i actually had forgotten about it till now.
  8. I had changed to the lighter leader due to the water clarity. This lake has 15+ visibility and very little cover. It has on average 2-3lb smallies and I usually fish 6lb flouro with my spinning setups as the fish are line shy. I already had the braid on my jigging rod so I just went with the lighter (longer) leader. As for the Knot tying ability, That may be suspect, hence the reason for the question.
  9. Great Thanks guys..
  10. Great post I personally don't care for the Cx but I may have had a bad spool. My was twisty, it crimped and had too much memory for my taste. I will definately try the ultra soft.
  11. Help! I lost two huge fish yesterday fishing jigs. I was using 50lb braid and a 12lb flouro leader. both line breaks came at the junction. I used a uni knot and coated the knot with superglue. What is the best knot for tying braid to mono????????
  12. THE BAIT MONKEY IS JUST SITTING BACK AND LAUGHING!!!!!!!!!!!! ;D ;D
  13. If it makes any difference in you decisions, Fishfordollars boat wrap looks FANTANSTIC!!!!!
  14. If you do eventually get his boat numbers etc. I would still contact the DNR and report him. If he was removing brush piles he could be destroying habitat and that is another steep fine. Nail his @#%. but do it legally. Better to have the association discipline him AND the DNR. good Luck.
  15. Nice Pig. I agree, your cell phone takes great pics!!!!!!
  16. You.... Complete..... ME...... : ;D ;D ;D you had me at every day.......... LOL
  17. I recently saw basspros tv show where rick clunn admitted to sitting on a bumper bouy during long tourney runs to help his back and to lift him higher to see better. Made sense to me.. A heck of a lot cheaper too. I agree with Cart, its kinda like getting an F350 and then complaining about gas mileage IMO :-/
  18. this seems to be correct. just don't lotion em up in plain sight or ask your fishing buddy to help :-? :-? That made my mind go straight to the gutter... Only if my "partner" was my wife

    Roids...

My father was on Prednisone for arthritis. It did not make him gain weight but it does ruin you liver after extended use. Have your doctors tried Remicaid(sp?) My buddies' went into remision and is still doing great almost 9 years later. It is expensive as hell though. good Luck man. That disease is NO joke
  20. I cannot even imagine the land mines left in the back yard????????? That is a big puppy
  21. My prayers go out to you and your family.
  22. Please be sure to post your results. I am from Cincy but live in Michigan ( Yes, I know how bad Mi. is) and am planning on headin home soon. I was thinking about going to Brookville to try for some smallies. Good Luck
  23. At one time BPS had these on sale for $99. For a small boat or canoe I think they are ideal, especially if you are on a budget. They don't have a very high pixel count so you are not going to get a "super" detail of the bottom but it will help you chart depth and contours for sure. they also work well for ice fishing. Any advantage you can get towards figuring out the fish is better than NO advantage. IMO
  24. I have 3 letters for you up to this point: W.O.W
  25. Never been a huge fan of gentlemens clubs... Its like watching your neighbor grille a big, juicy Tbone that you paid for from across the fence. You can smell it. You can see it in ALL its glory. Sometimes you can poke it when he goes into the house for another beer. But no matter what, you can't eat it. :-/ Although, sometimes looking at a nice piece of meat makes you all warm and fuzzy inside too. :
