  1. AI in the workplace is a mixed bag. The optimization sounds good in theory, but I've seen cases where rigid AI-generated schedules cause more inefficiencies rather than solving them. At my last job, they started using AI to handle scheduling. While it helped with overall logistics, it didn't account for the unpredictable stuff, unexpected delays, human intuition, or the shortcuts experienced employees know. Some people followed it exactly, while others found ways to outperform it using their knowledge.
  2. iMovie is indeed a fantastic tool for beginners and makes those initial edits feel like a breeze. If you ever find yourself on a PC and need to capture or record video content directly from your screen, you might want to check out how to screen record on Windows 10 with audio. It’s a handy skill that could help you incorporate additional content into your videos, especially if you're creating tutorials or want to share gameplays.
  3. The labyrinth of bays and inlets must have made for some interesting fishing spots. I had a similar experience fishing in a remote area, where I found myself catching plenty of one type of fish before finally finding the variety I was after. If you’re ever looking for a cozy cabin stay, I had a great experience at a Westgate property. The cabin setting was perfect for relaxing after a day on the water.
  4. What a beautiful and heartwarming post, wdp! I'm so glad to hear that your dad is doing well and that you're forming connections with the other veterans and staff at the VA home. It's clear that you're making a positive impact on their lives, and they're doing the same for you. Thank you for sharing this inspiring story and for honoring our brave veterans.
  5. So sorry to hear about your loss, Keeper. My heart goes out to you and your family. Thank you for sharing this important reminder about sun protection. It's a great way to honor your dad's memory and help others avoid the same fate. I'll definitely be making sure to slather on the sunscreen and wear my hat from now on. RIP to your dad, and I hope you find comfort in the memories you shared with him on the water.
  6. Haha, love your attitude, Keeper! You're right, if you catch a record-breaker, it's only fair to share it with the public. And it's awesome that you've got the setup to keep the fish comfortable until the biologist can examine it. That's really cool that you're thinking about your kids seeing your name in the record books too. 25 years is a long time, so it's definitely due for an update. Good luck out there, and I hope you catch something massive!
  7. Thanks, I appreciate it.
  8. Did Netbaits discontinue Mad Paca? I don't see it anywhere on there site.
  9. 1. Definitely, your taste will grow accustomed to bourbon with time, just like with beer - remember, savoring bourbon is an acquired taste. 2. The "rubbing alcohol" feeling lessens over time, though the 'burn' is part of bourbon's character. 3. Smaller sips - Enjoy it, let it swirl around your mouth, it's not a race. 4. Try some smoother bourbons like Bulleit or Woodford Reserve, these are common and not overly expensive. They have nice flavor profiles and tend to be easier for beginners. You can buy them from Costco, they have a wide selection at reasonable prices. You can find on Costcofdb.com the prices for each bottle. Starting out with bourbon is a bit like starting to enjoy black coffee or dark chocolate, it takes a little time.
  10. Yeah that's what I usually do.
  11. I fixed it. I put 15lbd Fins Windtamer braid on it and it's doing much better now.It was the knot that I tied to spool reel. It was catching it when I casted
  12. I say whipping but it was more of a rod wobbling or vibrating like the line getting caught on the knot I bought some braid which will help. It is a pretty size knot since I used to join two lines when I spooled the reel. I usually do that to save money and spool two spinning reels.
  13. I don't think that's it. I believe it's the knot it I put it on right it's the knot in the reel I believe that's catching it. I put it in a container so to make it turn counterclockwise. It was doing fine like I said until I pulled the line off that got closer to that knot when I attached the fluoro to it. Got some Fins windknot braid to put on it since the line is so low. Should help with wind knots and so forth. Fluro just hates spinning reels lol. Thanks though! Watched multiple YouTube videos over the years on putting line on spinning reels.
  14. The other day after my spinning reel got a wind knot so took it off then when I removed the line and tied it back on my rod vibrated and my bait snapped back. Wondering if it was because of the knot in my line catching it since a good bit of line is gone close to the knot. Would that cause it? Hopefully, nothing is wrong with my Ducket micro magic rod. Anyways thanks!
  15. Got some new line, nail weights, swimbait jigheads, and baits. Only took like 2 days to get here.
