  1. I'm hoping for anything over 6lbs.
  2. IF STRIKE KING IS READING Please know that this isn't a guy who lacks integrity. A lot of guys here will tell you the things hes done for people on this board from helping kids to taking people out fishing. He also does a kids fishing thing with handicapped kids in his home state. He's a stand up guy and I'll vouch for that personally. Just give the guy his shirt, holy cow. LBH- deflate your head, I''m just saying.. ;D
  3. Wacky rig allllll day long. Like LBH said, if it's not wacky rigged, you are not maximizing it's potential. Horizontal drop, both ends quivering,...gives me the jimmies just thinking about it,lol.
  4. Russ, I left that copy you gave me in Canton that night, need another one please. Burn one for me so it's ready, will pick up at 420 club meeting one night this week.
  5. Hats off! I will personally vouch for LBH, having fished as his main partner and having helped in many of his endeavors over the last 10 years, I'll be the first to say he is of fine charachter. From bringing fishing to kids of all ages including the handicapped to just helping fix a trailer on his free day, he'll get it done! As for Chris, If you've ever read his replies, they speak for themselves. There are a few folks here who should be writing for magazines. Roadwarrior, Chris, etc., your knowledge and style of explaining, are second to none. If this place doesn't offer knowledge as comprable to the known mags out there, I'll eat my hat! bassresource.com, ride the explosion. Great job to all of you.
  6. If there was 1 thing I would say makes me a better fisherman, I would say it is,........fishing. Seriously, I try to learn somthing with every cast. The more I fish, the more I learn.
  7. hey guys, I'm LBH's main partner. I'll have to say that reading along with this post is like reading a "Bassin'" magazine. Chris- you are so dead on, maybe he'll listen now, coming from you, lol. Great fall breakdown. We did end up catching yesterday but only 1 each on jigs and the rest on shiners with a 4.6 and a 3.8 as highlights. Chris-thanks again, alot of times when Russ is asking somthing, he is asking for me because I just don't have the time here like he does, and I always ask him to direct the questions your way. Great reading.
  8. Russ (Low budget Hooker) makes these for us all each year. He also does a full team picture at the end of the season. i just got this today and wanted to share the idea with everyone. This is my 6th one and I have them on the wall in my office. It's like a timeline. Just wanted to thank Russ again and share the idea. I'm, not on here much but I know he is but either way, I'm always here reading! Tight lines!
  9. I have an EAGLE 480 x 480.... Mounted on a Jon Boat ....Love it..... **Low Budget Style** 8)
  10. My advice would be the addition of RATTLES !! Either use a jig with enough weight to maintain contact with the bottom but with a rattle. This will help the bass to locate the lure. Try adding a bright trailer white or chartruse. With a tube once again i would still stay with a bright color, but in addition i would also add a RATTLE. In local tackle shops look for a rattle you can insert inside the tube. The fish fill be able to zero in on the lure. Stay in contact with the bottom. Personally i like a Jig early in the season when bait is scarce. I like a Tube late in the summer after spawn to resemble small baitfish. ** Low Budget ** Style 8)
  11. Wishin I had a Brushpile !!!
  12. Go git 'em boy. Wish I could be going with you, see you in the morning, I'll be there by 4ish w/ pops Jordan. Leave me a couple.
  13. jon boat (and screw the jaccuzzi, lol) coke or pepsi
  14. Do they sink quickly?
  15. retired bondsman or free room for the weekend?
