  1. wow speedworm, its never too hot to fish.....in Florida....come on now, you must be from Cuba or somethin....lol..just messin... I strongly agree with your Go Gators though..
  2. watermelon red mags texas rigged.
  3. go with 5/0 ewg hooks. rig em just like a worm just make sure to keep the back pretty straight so it swims right. check out the video on the main page, it will tell you just what you need to know.
  4. Thanks Guys, definately gonna give the fat ikas a shot. Ive fished the tiny panfish ikas (rigged with skirt in back) and caught the smallest bass of my life (maybee 4"), but i was catching them one after another.... im sure ill have some success with the fatties. Just t rig em backwards?
  5. Yeah the selection has been pretty shabby at the two near me. About the only thing i go in for anymore is power pro, theyve got it for a couple of bucks cheaper than the dicks near me.
  6. Rig it Backwards? Like through the tail end?
  7. oh youre gonna love em banger, toss them out in front of some weeds and just wait for it! a medium to slow retrieve has worked well for me.
  8. Wow, a fellow Jacksonvillian! Where are you fishing at in the st johns? My parents have a house on the st johns near the buckman bridge and i have yet to catch a bass in there. To be honest ive never really fished for bass on the main river, just back in the creeks, I always thought we were too far north and the salinity levels were too high for bass.
  9. If your looking for a little color on your weights try out some of the powder paints for lead jigheads. Theyve got quite a few colors and it looks quite easy, as all you need is a heat gun or an oven to heat up the lead. Just thought Id throw that out there...might be a good option?
  10. I recently picked up a pack of the rage toads and let me tell ya I love em! Caught two nice size bass in a matter of five to ten min. I like that they dont spin under water and twist your line up like some of the other frogs ive used.
