There isn't a specific post in this thread, but that was just an example I gave.

I dont get the logic behind using 50 or 65lb braid, but then use a 20lb leader. It's just another knot that could fail and your line is still only 20lbs strong. To each his on I guess.....

Knapp, it takes very little effort on your part to capitalize and punctuate your messages. By doing so, it makes it much easier on the folks who are trying to read what you are trying to say. Get a 7' vendetta and put a revo s on it.....for the money its the best setup you will find. But thats just my opinion and you know that saying about opinions right?

I have 3 vendetta's and they have been fished hard,and for the money I dont think you will find a better rod. Now I am partial to ABU, but get the 7'm mod fast Model vct70-5 and you can fish most any bait and technique.

I think both will produce good in the stained water we have around here. As for the boat I'm torn between an 09 triton 18 explorer maxxed out w/ a 115 or the z7 w/ the 150. The triton is 18,900 w/ dual console and I think the resale value would hold better also. The new bps mag is loaded with good deals too.
