  1. I have 2 Compres and they are great rods for the price. You are also getting a amazing warranty with it. In this price bracket there are alot of rods that fall in the " this years new rod " category. The Compres are tough, sensitive and well balanced. Both of mine are the 2 piece 6'6 medium fast. I leave them in my car. I also have 6 cumaras. I used to have some crucials but found that the Cumara was a much better rod and that a Compre was almost as good as the crucials so i sold the crucials and baught Compres and started buying cumaras.
  2. Awesome paint!!!!
  3. Blue fox is not owned by Mepps!!!! It is owned by Rapala. Go to the Rapala Usa website. https://shop.rapalausa.com/
  4. Its not the ratio you should look at its the IPT. I fish 7.1 for everything. You want to slow down just reel slower. That being said i do not fish deep crankbaits. Ive had 5.1 and 6.1 but got rid of all of them and baught 7.1 reels.
  5. Must have been a beast!!! I would say 7lb - 8lb
  6. Berkley Hollow belly swimbaits. These are killer!!!
  7. What do you mean by " caved on the CUC74H "
  8. Anyone use these yet. Here is what I have read on another site: For all of you out there that are fans of the Shimano Cumara rods, will be glad to know that there are three new Models available that include a flipping stick. I had a chance to field test all these rods last year and am very excited they are finally ready to ship from Shimano. All three rods have the unbeatable Shimano Lifetime over the counter Warranty. The CUC77H is a 7'7" Cumara Flipping stick. This rod is super lightweight as are all the Cumaras and has plenty of back bone with a nice tip. This rod can be used as a flipping or punching rod. I really liked the way this rod fished. The MSRp on this rod is $249.99 The CUC74H is a 7'4" Cumara casting rod that was designed as a heavy jig rod for casting 3/4oz or bigger jigs and as a pitching rod as well. This guys back east have been begging for this rod for pitching into grass. If you like the Shimano Crucial CRCX72H 7'2" Heavy casting rod then you are sure to love this rod as well. This rod fishes what it was designed for very well and I loved fishing it. The MSRP on this rod is $249.99 The CUSD72ML is a 7'2" Cumara Spinning rod that was designed as a lightweight, light line finesse rod. This a great light dropshot and fishes the Jackall I Shad very well too. If you are a light line fisherman this is the rod for you. The MSRP on this rod is $239.99 If you have not fished the Cumara rods then I promise you that you are missing out. There is not another rod that is this nice at this price and to top it off it is covered by the best lifetime warranty in the business.
  9. 110$ are you kidding me. I would have baught them and figured it out later. Those are 300$ rods. You need to call 1-800-bait-monkey and tell them you need help!!!
  10. I fish alot of tubes and i really like the strike king coffee tubes.
  11. Try TW. If they dont have them go on their message board and request them. If you ask for them they will usually get it for you.
  12. You should put this post in the flea market.
  13. Never gonna happen!!! Boston is not a contendor. Too bad because they are my 29th favorite team in the NHL.
  14. 10!!! The best way to justify me saying 10 is the following phrase. " its the difference between fishing and catching fish " You can follow edges, depths, contours. I fished my local lakes my whole life and caught tons of fish. But when I got my Hummingbird units it really kicked up a notch. Now if I get on a pattern I can follow it on my gps. Down imaging/sonar split screen is amazing when drop shotting. You will not regret the move. Hummingbird 998 si/di Hummingbird 788 hd/di
  15. Owner Beast 4/0. This is a killer bait. The only thing that sucks is the cost.
  16. 4/0 EWG Gamakatsu. Never had a problem. Yamamoto baits are known to catch fish not be durable.
  17. Use the frog to find the fish. Then throw a senko as a follow up. 50% or more of the time you will get them. Frogs are great search baits.
  18. TT went out of business. Picasso will be selling many of their products under their name. The weights are already on TW. I wouldnnt be surprised if they re released the pegs because they released the weights.
  19. Saw this quote on twitter " GSP does not know how to win, but he sure knows how not to lose "
  20. I have never heard of that problem but it does not surprise me.For the money there are much better options on the market. Try their customer service (good luck) and if that dosnnt work then try the store where you baught it.
  21. X2. Put the line through the hole and 5 seconds later the reel is stripped.
  22. There were rumours about this and I guess they were true. Picasso has picked up the Tru Tungsten production and has now released them under the Piccasso brand. Both bullet and flippin weights. TW even re used the same pictures as the Tru Tungsten weights. 23. Stradoc Ci4 is awesome. I have two in the 2500 size and i love them. As for line i am running one with 10lb power pro to a 10lb seaguar leader and the other is a straight 8lb Tatsu.
