  1. You didnnt buy what everyone on BR would have suggested but...... Thats how you learn. Next time to a bit more research. 5 yrs ago i was bass fishing with a ultra light ugly stick with a crappy reel on it. I was pitching worms in heavy cover, spinnerbaits, tubes, crankbaits and everything else and catching fish like crazy. Was it the best combo... NO but once i figured that out i knew what i wanted and what i needed to get specific techniques done.
  2. Any good bass fishing near Fort Myers? My mother has a condo there and i was thinking of heading down.
  3. Lowrance and hummingbird have been going at if for a while!!!
  4. If that happened to me... Minn kota up... And i'd be after him. Guaranteed my Ranger is faster. Id get my reel and rod back out of the water or out of his wallet!!!
  5. Take that little squirel and tie him to a tree. Wait a while for the coyotes to show up and blast the hell out of them!!! Train that squirel to be your live bait. I would shoot Coyotes all day if i could.
  6. Rage Tail Anaconda!!!
  7. 1-Chevrolet 2-Ranger 3-Yamaha 4-Power Pole 5-Shimano 6-Seaguar 7-Strike King
  8. I use EWG all the time. I several packs of straight shank and offset worm that just sit there. I tried them but got hung up way too much. EWG is by far a better choice in my opinion.
  9. Hold out for the new Compres. If you cant wait definetly thr Veritas.
  10. Oh yeah I forgot to say Tackle Warehouse. There are no good tackle shops up here so i order alot from them.
  11. Rage tail Power pro Seaguar fluorocarbon tatsu & invisix Shimano core & cumara
  12. Doctor spinnerbait is a sponsor here and he claims to be able to custom build any spinnerbait you could ever need
  13. Is anyone using culling beams and if so which one? I came in 3rd in a tournament last saturday and missed 2nd by 2 oz. I culled out 10+ fish so i really think that i could have thrown 2nd place out of the boat by only using my scale.
  14. Medium fast - spinning Medium Heavy fast - casting If i had to buy 1 rod these would be my choices in spinning and casting.
  15. I use Rod gloves. Cheap and they protect the rod well
  16. Seaguar is the best that i have found. I use Invisx for leaders and Tatsu for drop shotting. Great line
  17. Quit school and try and make it as a pro!!!!!
  18. I have 6 cumaras two of which are spinning. A medium fast and a medium x-fast both of them are 6'8. They are both matched with a stradic ci4. They are awesome. I love them both equally. I use the x-fast for drop shot and the fast for tubes and t-rigs.
  19. T-Rig with a heavy weight or carolina rig
  20. I want some NOW!!!!! Please post a date that TW will have them.
  21. Quite possibly J Franco. All I want this product to do is get the fish to the weight in and allow me to safely release them afterwards. I do not know about the effects that this has on a fish after it has been released. I see other anglers weight in with dead fish in every tournament that i do and those of us who use Rejuvenade have never lost a fish. I would love to see a study done that shows the effects that these type of products have on fish after they have been released.
  22. I always start with a spinnerbait and a rage craw pegged with a 1/8 bullet weight. This way i can cover water with the spinnerbait and flip specific areas with the craw. Once you figure out if they want it slow or fast then expand in that direction. If they want it fast then i move to jerkbaits or crankbaits. If they want it slow then i go to a tube and a senko. Hope that helps.
  23. I dont know how many of you use Rejuvenade in your livewells during tournaments but I strongly suggest it. I had been using it before but recently just forgot about it. This year it has accounted for never losing a fish in several tournaments. Last weekend in particular I caught a nice 4lb smallmouth with a hollow belly swimbait. It was deep hooked and bleeding like crazy. I put her in my livewell and it really wasnnt looking good. After 5 minutes she was sideways so i put some rejuvenade in the water and closed the lid. Check back 10 min later and she is back to life as if nothing had ever happened. This was at 8am. I released her at 3:30pm and she swam away no problems at all. I know that there are some haters of this product on BR but from my personal experiences over the pas 2 years this stuff is amazing. For the record I am in no way affiliated with this product. I dont care if you buy it or not but if you are like me and care about releasing your fish alive and well after a tournament then check it out.
  24. I dont think so. I use Power pro in green and red. My buddy swears by yellow. In both cases we are using fluorocarbon so the fish never see it.
  25. Cumara all the way. I own 6 and they are all awesome!!!
