  1. Me either..... ;D you guys should come up here. we'll go hit up the lake with only a jitterbig on the line and a jitterbug in your pocket as a bckup and i guarantee you have a smile on your faces all night long. The jointed black jitterbugs in 5/8 are my best sundown/ night time producers for me.
  2. Spooky shad color is that BOMB!!!! That color kills it up here. I have the little john and the little john md in it and its awesome. I have clear water and i throw the little john in 4-6ft of water. Any conditions this is a awesome combo. The " LJ" in spooky shad is a killer little cranbait. The little john in general aew awesome and i have a few but the spooky shad in particular is a real producer.
  3. you can buy these at a bunch of stores in montreal. I havent seen these but last year they had one out called the r-type. Great rods for the money. One of my buddies loaded up on 4 of them for a tourney and he loves them.
  4. I baught a bunch of packs last year and ended up giving them away. They were horrible. They were like fishing with a popsicle. The baits were a little too bio-degradeable. They are on liquidation in montreal for super cheap. I talked with a rep for rapala and they said there formula was off and they had to fix it because they had too many complaints. Thats why they stopped making them in the green packs and launched the new agrresion series which will be more like traditional plastics in a bag. Aparently they fixed there durability issued and this years products will be winners. I will try them and will post the results.
  5. 2008 ranger reata 186vs with a yamaha f150hp and a 14ft tin boat with a 15hp tohatsu
  6. Amazing Job its like they're new...maybe even cleaner than new!!!
  7. Simply put........ that reel is amazing. I have one sitting on a cumara 6'8 MH extra fast and it is a killer combo. You need to put that reel on a shimano rod. It was built for a shimano. Sounds like a good oportunity to put one on a new cumulus!!! I will be upgrading two of my curodos to core 50's this year.
  8. A sales rep for lawn and gardening products and I own a residential and commercial real estate company with my girlfriend.
  9. So after listening to everyone i went to walmart and picked up some magic erasers. IT IS PURE MAGIC!!!!!!! These thing made the cork on my rods look brand new. I dont know whats in them but its amazing. So much dirt came off. Thanks alot for suggesting these to me. Looking at my rods i feel like they are brand new. I love bass ressource and now i love magic erasers!!!!
  10. I have been using green power pro for 2 years and i love it. I have often wondered what the red was for. I thought it might be good for applications where i use a leader therefore giving me more line visibility which would be good. If you have or do use it have you noticed any differences from green power pro?
  11. Berkley hollow belly are awesome. this year i will be trying swimming senkos, shadalicious and the swimming flukes but i think it will be hard to be the berkley hollow bellies.
  12. Theres NO color on my cumara, the rod is all dark gray w/black grips, boring looks but it is a good rod. The Steez Fle-X-Lite series are beautiful rods for a non-custom. Thats what i like about them they are a graphite-charcoal color. Thats my favorite color. Nice clean sleek look. Im not down with all that fancy shiny stuff
  13. The nicest colored and styled rods are the cumaras. They are stealthy. None of that bling or fancy stuff just a beautiful graphite. The crucials are also very nice in the sun.
  14. I recently asked a similar question about changin out trbles and i will be going with owner stinger st-36's.
  15. Your best buy will be off the fishing flea market on this site. Check it out everyday and you will find a great deal. Might be a bit used but you could get a rod reel combo for half price. So either buy a 200$ combo new or buy a 400$ combo off the flea market slightly used for 200$. You will get a much better combo for the money than buying it new. I would wait and check the flea market
  16. Whats everyone using as a goby imitator apart from a tube??? All you lake Erie/ St-Clair guys should have some good options..... Here is what i found on TW
  17. I was going to try zoom flukes this year due to everyone reviews and i found these puppies. I might just have to pick up a few of these on my next TW order!!! Just wished they had a few more color options....
  18. That 's exactly the idea, the hook point reaches the point of entry in the tissue faster in an extra fast tip that it does with a fast tip, also, it reduces the ammount of energy necessary to set the hook because the rod is stiffer at the the tip and has to bend less. Now, how faster it is ? miliseconds How less energy is needed ? a few newtons But, as usual it depends, there are days when a bass hits a bait and literally munches on it, on days like those it makes no difference if you have a fast tip over an extra fast, and there are days when bass barely mouths the bait and spits it right away, on days like those the extra fast tip helps you to hook the fish before it spits the bait. so for finess fishing extra fast would have added bonuses over fast. What about with spinnerbaits and buzzbaits?
  19. Does it change anything for hooksets??? Harder or easier to set the hook??? Someone told me you have to be a lot faster to set than with a fast tip.
  20. Just wondering in what situation xfast tips are usefull or needed????
  21. DD22 in pearl. i also use DD14 in pearl. i dont use them very much but i am ready if the situation arrises. There are also Rapala DT 20's.
  22. i have the cus68m spinning and the cucx68mh casting and i love them both. they are used for plastics only. depending on the situation. whether it calls for spinnning or casting. i will be getting 2 more in spring in the reaction series.
  23. Actually the RH is 6" with tear tabs released and fished. The profile is larger than the BBH and more comparable to the standard BH Big O www.ragetail.com thanks for the clarification....
