  1. I live on the st-lawrence and drop shot quite a bit. I recently got back into fishing and went right back to what I knew. The braid is Powerpro moss green 30lb. The Fluorocarbon is Seaguar Tatsu 8lb if I see the bottom or 10lb if I dont. I always go with 8-10ft of leader and will change when its less than 5ft. I never had a issue. After every 5 fish or so I make sure that Fluo has no nicks. I copied this setup from fishing with a FLW pro on lake Erie.
  2. Been out of the loop for a bit and getting back at it. I was wondering if there were any companies making plastics like Tubes, Ika's, Senkos & flipping craws... that were biodegradable. Given all the changes going on that are pro environment I would think someone would get ahead of the curve and make a high quality biodegradable option. Thanks,
  3. Started fishing again after 6 years. So i'm crazy happy. I unboxed my rods and reels and they were spooled from when I boxed em up. Mostly PowerPro (30lb - 60lb) with either Fluorocarbon or Mono leaders. Should I respool all 12 reels? Is the line on my old spools still good? Is the line that's still in its original packaging still good?
  4. I am from Montreal, Quebec, Canada. The packages up here generally have English/French/Spanish.
  5. I currently have a Sako 85 " Grey Wolf " 270 WSM which is about the same amount of money. So its not the money that bothers me its the fact that they are only available through custom orders and I cant get my hands on one.
  6. You can find McDonalds all over the world. I spent alot of time abroad and people always called fast food type meals American.
  7. I am looking at picking up a Nosler M48 Trophy Grade rifle. Just wondering if anyone has one and if so how do you like it?
  8. Bps 100mph is a great suite. Wouldnnt trade it for anything. From early spring to late fall it is always great.
  9. Simon Frost is the best guide on Erie. I fish with him every year. He is always on Facts of fishing, he has been on Jp Derose and he finished 2nd on lake erie last year at the FLW. If hes not available the next best would be Gaspar Constabile.
  10. Core 100mgfv is da bomb!!!
  11. Lake St-Francis is a amazing lake. The Berkley B1 was on it for the past 2 years. I go to Lake Erie every year and get guided by Simon Frost. He is amazing. 50+ days are almost a given with 5 and 6 lbs being the biggest i've caught.
  12. Looks great on my Iphone
  13. Shimano Core 100mgfv. Hands down the best reel for pitching!!!
  14. Anyone tried these? They look identical to 110's but are 1/3 the price.
  15. Jones will destroy Machida. This will not be a good fight. Jones will dominate from beginning to the end.
  16. I use the Core 100mgfv and I love the flipping switch. It is my favorite reel. I have a couple core 50's and Calais but the core 100 mgfv for me is the best reel for fliiping. I put it on a Cumara flipping stick and its a beast of a combo.
  17. I have a Super Black Eagle 2 that I hunt with. Its too much gun for home defence. I prefer a semi auto 410 with a 10rd magazine.
  18. Do you have some updated pics? Thanks
